I m so angry right now as I write this review… but… I went in the the Indooroopilly Shop last Thursday’s and prepaid for a large Mango Bomboleo desert… which I requested for the 31st.. since they said they were closed on the 1st… When I got home and checked the receipt, there was no indication to say it was a delayed order for the 31st of Dec… so I went in on Friday! And rechecked with the same staff member, and she said - ‘that’s fine’ it is for the 31st, we have made a note of it… great! My son went in to pick it up… and Lo and behold it wasn’t there on order for me! They said some new girl was working today - and… she had sold it to someone else! Can you believe that? All they had to do was put a ‘reserved’ tag on it NO-ONE! New or old staff would have sold it, accept your mistake! I ‘pre- ordered’ for my New Years day lunch …am having 20 ppl, and the girl suggests I buy the small ones ( which are readily available)!!! 20 small ones would cost me $200.00 would they give the extras complimentary??? Not apologetic, the girl who answered the phone when I rang was v matter of fact, ‘suggesting’ I purchase the small ones.. the audacity!! I have been buying many a dessert from this particular store, only cos I live in Indro, and I can’t believe they are so irresponsible with a...

Great place to take kids who can be seen hovering around the pastries — I think this creates the atmosphere — families converging. It’s an eminently family-friendly establishment.
Most of the staff are extraordinarily kind and courteous. Jigme, is one of the best baristas I’ve come across. Not only is he a wizard at making short macchiatos but he lends a certain delicacy to LBC.
I do hope that management will exclude shopping trolleys — not only are they inconvenient but hazardous. Besides, trolleys destroy the ambiance.
The wait staff are overstretched often, inspite of which they serve customers with smiles.
LBC’s plain croissants alone could be there iconic offering — it...
Read moreWe visited for the first time for an afternoon tea snack and enjoyed the lovely pastries, although the young girl (new, obviously) was a little flustered learning the ordering tablet. I ordered an oat milk frappe and when it was brought to the table I questioned the waiter if it was oat milk and he reassured me it was. I drank this coffee frappe which turned out to be full cream cows milk. I am allergic to milk and had adverse reactions for the remainder of the day into the evening. I'm posting this hoping the young girl and waiter can learn from their mistake and learn to listen to the customer and relax. Take it slow and enjoy the job. I am lucky my symptoms are not too bad and I should be fine in the morning but everyone is different. Keep in mind that people order different milks for a reason most...
