Burrito Bar Clayfield — Restaurant in Brisbane City

This place is walking distance from my house and I am always disappointed. The folks running this place have no business in restaurants.

Friends and family constantly hanging around chatting and ignoring customers. Very inept staff. Zero urgency. Takes them 30 minutes to get a single burrito out. I tried to order a takeaway order in person and have a beer while I waited and this confused the staff. I had to ask twice for the beer. I literally had to slow down and say "I. Would. Like. To. Have. A beer. While. I Wait". I was met with a blank stare.

Food looks like a plate of sick. Everything thrown together with zero pride. I'd be very surprised if the back of house gets cleaned properly. Tables are often left sticky. They forget items. The "pico de gallo" was literally four pieces of diced tomato. Just all bad.

I've ended up with multiple extra items before. I guess that's a positive for me? But they're just not paying attention. Staff is untrained.

They cook rice to a sludge like consistency in a rice cooker. It's incredibly lazy. This is unlike any Mexican place I've ever been to. They put stale chips on the "speciality" burritos.

This place is clearly circling the drain and is always empty. I can't wait until they go belly up and replaced with a business that takes some pride in their appearance...

I've had enough and I'm spilling my opinion now. This place rips you off!! 4 times in a row now my food has been fkd! 1st time the chips were only half cooked, yes, they were semi- raw chips not even warm, the under trained teenage staff were too incompetent to offer me a refund or free remake and nothing was resolved.

All other times I ordered extras and didn't receive them. $3 for chicken and $2.5 for guacamole and not received is outrageous.. And now you can't contact them as the business number goes direct to voicemail at Tintworkz. That sounds like a dodgy business operation to me. The one time I got through to the owner, he argued that I got what I paid for. Well, most people don't even earn per hour what this food cost.. and that comes off a little offensive. I've always been forgiving to restaurants that mess up orders, afterall the staff could be struggling with issues, but when you constantly screw up orders and the manager doesn't work out a compromise, it just reeks of poor business behaviour. Read all the other reviews, the negative reviews are consistent yet nothing changes! I'd avoid this restaurant...

Honestly the food is alright other than the burritos are the same size medium and large but my problem is with the fries I paid for a large meal and this is what I get? This is no where near large fries at any other fast food place not even a medium fries at that, this is not the first time every single time that one guy is always cheap with the fries, why even bother with that large of a box while it’s mostly empty, if there was a Taco Bell franchise nearby I would’ve rather that same price I paid for this I can get a much larger meal with a taco on top of it I know that because I did very...
