Cafe Dolce — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Cafe Dolce is our local around the corner cafe and it’s fantastic. It’s always my partners and I’s go to for a lazy Sunday brunch or hangover meal. The coffee is great and the food always looks fabulous and tastes better. They make their orange juice fresh and you can’t go past the chicken katsu croissant - it’s phenomenal!!! We’ve dined in and often done takeaway and the service is always fast, friendly and just top notch. They’re also kid friendly with a shelf of toys to entertain little ones while you’re there. What makes the atmosphere is the ukelele lady who comes most mornings and plays beautiful music. She's a working music professional with a lovely voice, a friendly attitude, open to requests. I understand she doesn't receive as much as a free coffee for her years of building a coffee shop into a cool scene. Let the owners know if you like free live music but the rising numbers tell of how popular it is, despite being pressured to keep it at distance from the other shops down the corridor, who prefer muzak to the live experience. Generous amount of delicious food. My partner ordered Mega breakfast. He is a big eater, but couldn't finish it all. I ordered Egg Benedict which has a lot of cooked green vegetables in it. Very fresh ingredient at a good price. Friendly and efficient staff. Nice, clean and well-airconditioned space. Also, I like the brownie that they bake themselves. Super moist inside. This place is my new favourite. P.s. Lots of toys available for toddlers...
