Pipis Seafood — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Basically last time I walked into the shop and no one was there and I was gonna order and the owner was on his phone and looking at me then he back to his phone again what a best customer service, and another one I went to order calamari and chips around 10:37am on Sunday 17/08/2020 and I was gonna open that door but still closed then the owner was inside and looked at me then he just walked away and it says open 10am. This is the worst fish n chips place ever I’ve experienced. After that happened I go through all the reviews found one “Rude Service” then the owner reply back “I wish you have happy life and busy business, please do not bring any personal conflicts up to business” I’m the only one think that owner is really rude and bad...

Over the years Pipis has changed owners a few times, generally when that happens the quality of the food changes..sometimes good, sometimes bad. I can honestly say Pipis is the 1 restaurant where new ownership hasn't affected the quality, it's almost as if the previous owner trains the new owner, "these are the customers expectations!". The fish is always cooked to perfection, this time I ordered calamari, it was lovely and tender, but the chips..... so golden you know they are going have a crunch, you bite into them the inside is soft and almost fluffy. A couple of times I've ordered just chips and whilst waiting, I've ducked next door to the bakery for a fresh crusty...

Pipi’s Seafood… only go if you DON’T want to see food!!

I ordered a grilled snapper and a small chips. Both were smothered in cheap oil, the chips were covered in salt (i asked for less salt) and my fish was not worth the $10.90 i paid. As a local, the food, prices and servings used to be much better before the current owners came along.

I brought my food back, asking for a refund and they simply told me “we understand, but have to disagree” and refused to give me refund. I personally think if you cant give an upset customer a refund or some sort of compensation for your next visit, you are just insincere.

Disappointed i cannot use my local fish n chip...
