The below message is what I sent to your personal Facebook page, hoping to keep this matter private, however you’ve failed to respond to me about what your male staff member did to my intellectually disabled friend. I have no choice but to make this public now. Maybe now you’ll take action. Disabled people have rights and deserved to be treated with dignity.
Hi, I just wanted to let you know about an incident that happened yesterday with my intellectually disabled friend who visited for breakfast.
She went up to the counter and asked the male server to help her read the menu because she couldn’t read it. She asked for help to find the cheapest breakfast item on the menu.
Apparently the male server brushed her off, served the next gentleman in line and then laughed at her.
My friend was left extremely humiliated, anxious and crying. She doesn’t go out often due to being on a disability pension and so for her going out for breakfast yesterday morning was a treat and something big for her. Now she’s been left feeling humiliated by your staff member, and knowing her she most likely won’t go out again for a very long time, after being treated this way.
I bring this matter to your attention in the hopes that you can do something about it and bring about some extra training on how to deal with people the disabled community. Because this surely should not be happening at all.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope to hear...
Read moreOnly our 2nd time coming here today, cos it's already a bit of a rip-off, but was served by a tanned, young girl with a face full of make-up, who didn't understand how customer service works, or how to listen properly! I started off politely, and asked, "Can I please get 1 medium hot chocolate", then paused for 1 second for her to put the order on the screen, (as I always do everywhere!!), and straight away, she said... "Do you want 2??". I frowned, thinking to myself,.. is she serious, did I ask for 2 🙄🤷🏾♀️? Then I said, "Um no! 1 medium hot chocolate!!", then waited for her to correct my order, and then she asked,"Would you like anything else". Already annoyed, I replied "Yes, 1 small Mocha!". She repeated my order back with "That's 1 medium hot chocolate, and 1 medium Mocha?" I was furious by this point, and said very rudely to her, "No!, 1 medium hot chocolate,...1 small Mocha!!", then I asked, "Can you repeat that order back to me", considering she doesn't know how to take orders. She repeated my order and swung the screen around for me to check, before I paid. I should have walked off, but knowing this company was one of our regular cafes in Sydney, we wanted to try the Brissy one... again, who obviously doesn't hire smart people! Our first experience a few months ago was lovely. This experience however, ruined our morning tbh. Never coming back here. I don't...

It was overpriced I bought a melt and it was literally just avacdo on bread with tomato and a few onions with melted cheese covering it and chips that would go with it. THERE WAS LITERALLY NO FLAVOUR AT ALL ALL I COULD TASTE WAS THE CHESSE there was no sauce for it . Very bland and it costed $21 expensive . And the chips were horrible there was no salt and I had to put salt on it and then the chips literally had no flavour and they gave me sauce for it but it was okay. The big promblem was the CHIPS it tasted like frozen chips u can air fry I was so shocked Bec it was so bland me and my friends agreed . In addition my friend got a toaste and u would expect some flavour even a bit but she legit only tasted the bread she had avocado chicken and I think CHESSE on it and all she could taste was the bread. The chicken was bland did not have any flavour at all and was so dry.Overall do not get any of the melts or toastes try smth with sauce bec most of the food is so bland and...
