Be still my beating heart - Norman Park's hip score has gone from a 7 to a 9/10, thanks to Clancy's Espresso - the new cafe on Wynnum Road. Property prices will no doubt sky rocket so get in now! These guys totally understand what our local community wanted, great coffee, fantastic service and a lovely atmosphere to sit, relax and enjoy life. It's also about connecting as a local community, getting to know the locals, welcoming their dogs, joking with their kids and remembering how they like their coffee. I do hope these guys succeed, so please embrace & support their business so they can open another cafe and work their magic in another suburb too. I particularly love their attention to detail, the kitchen and shop fit out is gorgeous, all the little extra things make you feel at home and very welcomed. Did I mention the coffee is fantastic and the danish pastries delicious. Parking will be the only issue for some people, as it's on a busy one way street. I suggest parking on Hipwood, Philip, or Agnew Streets, and using the pedestrian crossing on Wynnum Rd...
Read moreTo be impressed by Uber eats delivery from a small business is hard to come by but Clancy’s have mastered the art. I’ve ordered twice online and both times they their quality and care shon through even after being handled by a 3rd party. We decided to visit in store and unsurprisingly their service and quality is incredible. There was a little mishap on our recent visit, one of their dishes wasn’t at the quality they’re happy to serve so they let us know. They gave us an option to then choose anything in the menu and over compensated by adding extras such as more chicken, eggs and a cookie completely free of charge. The genuineness of their business shines through because the people that run this place are genuine. We are happy to support a business like this and you’ve got customers for life in...

The croissant was inedible. Stale and then microwaved to death it was so chewy I couldn't even cut it with a knife.
The 'bagel' was thin, supermarket bread with almost no cream cheese at all and sad, wilted rocket. When the server put it down he said 'here's your bagel' - I don't know if they were out of bagels, but no-one said that at the point of ordering or at the table.
The coffee was fine. The cafe is in the corner of a busy intersection so the outdoor seating is noisy and unpleasant. The inside is cute but unfortunately it was a furnace on the...
