1st time visiting Brisbane and being in Australia. I wanted to find the most adventurous dining experience to test your limits and was worth the money! I did this alone since traveling solo and were able to make adjustments even though this a minimum of 2. I would say the best time to go is at 5 - 6 pm (you get the sunset of the river and homes then the city). Just the view alone is beautiful and just take your time enjoying it. The food was top-notch having a 3-course meal with the amazing view. For those that don’t eat red meat, they do have seafood option for you to choose which I ordered and gotta try their well-known Shrimp, Lobster & Mussels spaghetti w/ Sour Dough bread. When you are finished with your meals, you have the option to finish the night with a thrilling rappelling zip line to one of the staff at bottom floor. The staff had great vibes, easy to talk to, and had lots of laughs with them. They really care for your safety and makes sure you have a great time. If you are a local or a tourist, this is an experience that you gotta try once and test your limits if you want to push your adventure. Just make sure that you please reserve this activity as this tends to be booked quickly. I was able to book this a couple months in-advanced.

$250 per person and you don't get your own meal, you have to share one between you. Even worse if you choose to dine alone you will likely be made to share with a complete stranger. Even the staff seemed confused by this concept as my girlfriend was given a green tag to indicate her vegetarian requirements whilst mine was blue since I'm an omnivore but I didn't get to try the seafood due to the frankly bizarre single meal sharing concept so what was the purpose of my tag 🤷‍♂️. Portion sizes were abysmal to say the least, so much so that we visited the food market and picked up a portion of chicken and rice to eat once we returned home. They'll offer you a glass of wine once you're up there but don't do it. I had a glass of sav that was so cheap and nasty it gave me a headache and made me feel nauseous. $500 would be much better spent on a great dinner at James Street after an afternoon at Urban Climb.

Impressive from start to finish! The staff are great getting you all geared up in your harness, taking you upstairs and getting you seated. They're happy to take pics for you and give you plenty of time to take in the views! (Which were great on sunset tonight incase you can't decide between the lunch & dinner experience!!). The food was super tasty and we got a good serving of it too. (Seafood & Chicken). After our session ended we got to choose between taking the stairs back down or jumping off the edge for a bit more fun! We both jumped! It was epic! Staff were patient and talked us through it, to calm the nerves. It was a great way to end the night!! 100% recommend!! There's absolutely no pressure to jump, just so you know! They take care of you either way. It was a great night out!!

My son and I had a really great time doing the Vertigo dinner experience at the Powerhouse. I have been wanting to do it since it opened and finally got to do it! The meal was delicious, the views were amazing, and it was so much fun. We counted it as a belated birthday and an early Mother’s Day celebration. The customer service by all staff was great and they were fantastic in catering for my gluten and dairy intolerances. We had the Heirloom Tomato Salad for entree, and seafood Brodetto for main. My son had the Chocolate Nemesis cake and I had the almond milk Panna Cotta for dessert. We persisted through the rain during our main meal to enjoy the full experience. They gave us blankets to protect us from the rain that the umbrellas didn’t cover which helped a lot. We did the scary zipline down from the seat and had paid extra to Walk the Plank at the end. It wasn’t that scary after doing...
