I ordered on uber eats so I expected to pay a little more for my food which is fine. When I checked the receipt attached to my order I’d say the in store prices are pretty much the going rate for these items. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito which was very nice ($12). I also ordered a skinny iced latte with caramel ($8.80). If I was to be super picky I would question being charged extra for skim milk as usually full cream and skim are at no extra charge, but I’m not overly concerned paying an extra 50c as the coffee was decent. It wasn’t overly strong on the caramel but still good. I can’t comment on the atmosphere of the cafe as I got my food delivered. I will say that my order arrived fairly quickly (within 30 minutes) so I appreciated that. I am only leaving a 3 star rating for service due to reading other reviews and the lack of professionalism I can see with what the business owners have replied to other reviews with. Since you are a small family owned business please be mindful with what you share on social media and how you respond to reviews. I understand it can be frustrating when people leave you a review that doesn’t quite make a lot of sense to you at times but not acknowledging the customers concerns and blaming things on being a small business isn’t always the right approach to these reviews, especially when it is public and the whole world can see your response.
All in all, I had a good experience here and would recommend the place but as someone who runs a successful business myself, I would encourage the owners to challenge themselves with how they can better respond...
Read moreI've passed this place more than a 100 times now in my commute but never thought much of it from the exterior. Thanks to a sign which said "omelettes" I made a detour to dine in.
The inside is small and cosy, and most of all, air conditioned. Most of the patrons that I observed were fleeting regulars or tradies on a quick stop.
I'm not a huge fan of merlo coffee in general; the mocha was pretty good though. And I realise this cafe services the neighbourhood for its needs so kudos for it. The menu is value for money and the quality of the food is tasty.
The place is dog friendly though only for outside sitting. The owner is very warm...
Read moreThe koffee co cafe is one of the best places I’ve ever gotten food, the staff smile and greet you when you first walk in and the food is indescribably great. Ive only been in the mornings when its not been busy but i would happily wait to order and eat if they were extremely busy.
PROS: the service is second to none and the food worth traveling hours to get to.
Great selection of food and coffees.
CONS: I cant decide which food to get because it all looks and sounds delicious.
If I lived near here I would definitely be a regular.
I highly recommend stopping in for a coffee and a meal if you are ever remotely close to...
