This place had amazing food and amazing customer service. Definitely recommend visiting in off peak as this place does get very busy.

The coffee and food is excellent and the presentation and time for the food to come out was impeccable.

The woman who served us this morning, Henny, was very kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

I had a ice late an a single origin espresso, both were superb, and my girlfriend had a vanilla iced latte which I thought tasted great even though I'm not a fan of oat milk. I love their little cardboard straws, they're so pretty and they're not like other flimsy recyclable straws.

I had the Japanese fried chicken burger which had so much flavour and wasn't greasy at all, it was very crisp and juicy and the ginger made it so fresh and lifted the burger above just any old fried chicken burger. 10/10

My girlfriend had the purple avocado which was a smashed avo on sourdough with feta, little tomatoes and beetroot hummus and some poached eggs on top, very flavourful and everything went together well.

We also got the skinny fries with the sriracha mayo and they were very tasty, crispy and very flavourful even without the Mayo, and the portion was great.

Pricing wise this place is pretty good value for money, but there are many even cheaper items on the menu if you want something small and wallet friendly.

Overall this place is amazing and definitely will be back.

On another visit, asked for a double burger as I was starving, they did not disappoint. Sensational and delicious as always. The chef always has flawless food.

May 2023 update.

I came in today very hungry. I got the fried chicken burger which was amazing as always, but I also had the beef burger and I was disappointed to discover the burger pattie which was previously akin to a smash burger pattie with crispy juicy meat has been replaced or today at least had been replaced by a cheaper tasteless burger patty that looked like something I'd get at Woolies in a pack of 20. It was also drowned in basic very sweet bbq sauce. I really hope this isn't a permanent change as the burger I had eaten many times last year was amazing but if this is now how the burger is to be then I will not be ordering it again nor recommending...

🥰a beautiful leafy cafe with a range of indoor and outdoor seating in a spacious area~ we ordered their mermaid latte, açai bowl, caramel waffles and parmesan omelette w/ added salmon🤍

mermaid latte🧜🏼‍♀️: so so beautiful oh my GOD- matched my nails unintentionally🥺💙what a fragrant latte! it was just frothy silky milk with hints of turmeric/spices~ a lovelyyyy drink!

açai bowl🫐: very interesting and refreshing bowl never had a açai bowl like this one! didn’t really suit my taste as i lean towards banana and mango based ones? but it was blended beautifully and had delicious granola🤤🤩

caramel waffle🧇: oooooo this was so so delicious!!!🤩🥳the Persian fairy floss on top was such a dreamy and delicious touch, love it’s fragrant taste compared to normal artificial tasting fairy floss~💖the waffles were fresh, crunchy but soft to chew and delicious!! if you don’t like it too sweet you can scrape some of the caramel off and it’s perfect🤤

parmesan omelette🍳: wow this was so packed with flavour, unlike other omelettes, the fillings aren’t combined within the egg, whereas they are layered and stacked inside the fold i personally like that better as the normal ones have too much egg in ratio to fillings inside was onion jam, bacon and mushroom, wow. these all worked so well together, crazy honestly😫🤤

we had the lovely chance to talk to Niky, the owner of the cafe and my highlight from the chat was how he aims to create restaurant quality food within a cafe for an affordable price, absolutely...

Came for a lazy public holiday brunch, seeking refuge from the heat and food to satiate our post-slumber hunger.

We ordered: Beef mince on savoury waffle, $20 - Persian feta, balsamic roast tomato, fried egg & parmesan Chicken & avo melt, $14 - mozzarella, cheddar, spinach, artisan sourdough & aioli Bacon & egg burger, $14 - hash brown, crisps, Swiss cheese, BBQ sauce, rocket, chipotle mayo on a Hokkaido milk bun Iced matcha, $6

Everybody was happy enough with their choice of food. The fried egg in my savoury waffle had a runny yolk, which was great for mixing in with the rest of the elements on the plate. I wouldn’t say I loved the dish, but it was different enough from typical cafe fare for me to be interested, and no regrets trying. There are also some baked goods like pastries and muffins in the display cabinet, which I might try next time if I’m after a small or quick bite.

We chose an inside table hoping it would be cooler. Whilst we did sight an air conditioning unit, we were far enough away from and close enough to the fairly open demarcation between inside and outside that we didn’t really feel the cool air. Nevertheless it was under cover and far enough in from the street / direct sun exposure that we weren’t suffering.

The place is counter service and card + public holiday surcharges apply. We also had a 20% discount via Eat Club so I guess that more or less...
