I absolutely love their chicken! At this point, I can’t even decide whether I prefer KFC or Country Fried Chicken. What I do know is that Country Fried Chicken is less oily and heavy than KFC, with a noticeably cleaner taste. The prices are great, the staff are always friendly, and service is consistently fast. Best of all, the chicken is top quality—never stale or soggy (and trust me, I’ve been here at least 10 times in recent months!). My bf also LOVES their gravy “the best gravy I’ve ever had”.

The only downside is that the chicken breast pieces tend to be a bit dry for my liking. However, the drumsticks, wings, and thighs are always perfect. The venue itself isn’t the most inviting for dining in—it has plenty of space but could definitely be updated for a better experience.

PROS: the staff were friendly and prepared my order of chicken and chips quickly. Like other reviewers mention, the chips were tasty—a generous serve for the price, hot, and well-flavoured with chicken salt.

CONS: unfortunately, the chicken was not good. It lacked seasoning and was extremely greasy, even by fast food standards. The atmosphere of the shop is a bit off, two fast food joints operating out of the same restaurant gives bad ghost-kitchen vibes.
