Go elsewhere... Just like the other recent reviews from multiple people. This place is terrible now. It used to be great. Most staff are okay, but the manager is an absolute troll. She pretty much yelled in my face for asking if I could have two types of protein on one burrito. Yelling something like " We don't have a button on the system to allow two different meats!!" Okay. Just say that then instead of yelling, and then making the worst burrito if ever tasted. Oh, and she is really stingy with any salad. Two pieces of corn and some onion. Some tomatoes would be nice. And maybe fold the burrito instead of crushing it, bursting it, and then storming off out back without saying any pleasantries. I feel sorry for anyone who has to work there and put up with that thing. I'll be going to Camp Hill or Buranda, where they aren't so focused on short-changing customers to keep costs down. The regional manager really needs to have a look at how downhill this shop is going. I won't be going back which is a shame as I...
Read moreNow don't get me wrong, I love the food at Zambrero however by saying that I'm getting a bit sick of being ripped off from the lack of food put into my orders. I go to Zambrero often but every time I go and the manager of the cannon hill store is the one who serve me i only ever get half the amount of food i pay for. I prefer the bowls over the burrito but when ever i get my meal made by the manager I will receive a bowl with less than a quarter of the bowl filled with meat, rice and beans (that doesn't even reach the top of the bowl), and the rest packed out with a small amount of lettuce and then toppings that are so small it only equals to 5-6 pieces of corns and tomatoes. I feel like i'm given my hard earned money away for free, and i'm never full when i get served by this manager. I wont stop going to Zambrero because i love there food so much but a change needs to be made especially with this serving sizes of...
Read moreI’ve been a regular at this restaurant, visiting once a week for the delicious nachos, always with extra avocado, sauce, and meat. The food is consistently great, and the service is usually just as impressive.
However, during my recent visit on Monday, November 25th around 11:30, I noticed a shift in the atmosphere. The staff seemed a bit on edge, and the portion sizes were noticeably smaller than usual. I also saw a gentleman and lady, presumably the owners, carrying products into the kitchen, which may have contributed to the change in energy.
It’s important for owners to create a supportive environment for their team, and I hope this was just an isolated incident. Your staff are fantastic, and I know any discomfort they felt likely stems from the presence of management or owners.
I’m confident that this issue can be resolved, as no employee should feel uneasy in...
