My mother called Dominos store and asked the manager if she can have a pizza delivered, which she will pay cash for. She mentioned that she had almost the exact change required.
Ordinarily she would have paid by credit card, however recently she had her credit card stolen and now is unable to pay that way while she waits for the replacement card in the mail. The manager confirmed that delivery drivers can take cash.
The driver turned up (Australian man on a motorbike) and when the pizza for cash exchange begun, he looked blindsided by the notion of cash being handed to him.
Unaware of how to work out the cash amount to return, he was bewildered and hesitantly said he was not able to facilitate his end of this purchase.
Unfortunately, my mother now has no choice but to walk to Aldi to buy a meal for her to put together herself. She is on a disability pension and should not be walking. This is an absolute shame, as even with the cost of living crisis bighting down hard, she needed a night to treat herself to one of domino's value pizza deals and was looking forward to it as a change from her regular vegetarian pasta meal she puts together.
I found it difficult to choose between 3 or 4 stars in this case because on the one hand, we've enjoyed the pizza from this store greatly in the past, however this experience was far less than 4 stars.
I'd appreciate someone to contact me so I can explain further.
Thank you very much,

As a longtime patron and a professional in the food industry, I am compelled to write this review after a deeply concerning experience. I have always appreciated Vegorama's commitment to plant-based dining and its creative menu. However, during a recent visit, a dish I ordered—specified as vegan—was served with an animal protein. While I understand that errors can happen in a fast-paced kitchen, this is a severe lapse in kitchen management and cross-contamination protocols. For a restaurant with a completely vegetarian or vegan brand, the promise to its customers is non-negotiable. This isn't a simple mistake; it reflects a failure in staff training, food handling, and a lack of clear separation between vegan and non-vegan ingredients. This is a critical food safety issue, not just a dietary one. For customers with serious allergies, or those for whom avoiding animal products is a cultural or ethical commitment, this could have severe consequences. My goal in writing this is not to punish the restaurant, but to provide constructive feedback that highlights the immediate need for a full review of kitchen practices. I sincerely hope that Vegorama will use this as an opportunity to reinforce its commitment to proper procedure. I would not feel comfortable returning until there is confirmation that these systemic issues have...
Read moreI WISH I COULD RATE THEM 0 STARS. 1 STAR IS FOR THE SAKE TO PUT THE REVIEW. If you’re picking up or getting pizza delivered, pay at your own risk before checking your order. If they are out of stock for anything, they might send you a random thing instead without your consent. Their “policies” don’t allow them to do anything. If you’re getting a wrong product, it can be “unreasonable “, “too expensive “ or “very inconvenient” for them according to a manager whose real name might or might not be TOM. If you’ve got a wrong order, the only form of compensation they provide is “apologies from a teen kid” as it was a “honest mistake”, again in the words of someone that might be named “TOM”. Don’t expect any refunds or for them to remake your order, just in case they make any “honest mistakes” and it could be “too expensive” or “inconvenient “ for them, even though you paid the full price and didn’t get any value from it. If you’re happy with a teen put forward on call to apologize for their honest mistake, order here for sure. Highly recommended if that’s the service you are looking for, because who doesn’t like to get completely ripped off and get no...
