Absolutely hopeless at getting the right ingredients on a pizza. I've lost track of how many times I've gotten bits of cheese and meat on my vegan pizzas. Pathetic.
Once when I was still vegetarian, I ordered two Vegoramas. Assuming my order would be right, I took them when delivered with out checking (I will day the delivery guys have always been nice). Only to open the boxes and find two Meat Lovers. Like how wrong could you get it? By the time I realised and called the store, they were closed because it was late at night. I could again the next day. The manager asked if I had eaten them anyway. Like, seriously? I said no and she said I had to bring them back in store to prove that I hadn't eaten them and that the order had been wrong. I said the whole reason I ordered delivery was because I don't drive and that would be super inconvenient. She said that's the only way I'd get my refund. So I froze them and took them back at my convenience, a month later. They gave me a refund, but in small change.
Since then, there's been countless times I've found meat and cheese on my pizzas. I'm now vegan and I even order Pizza Mogul pizzas that have "vegan" in the title for god's sake, and they still get it wrong. It's gotten to the point that it seems like they're doing it on purpose, which is so believably unprofessional it's a joke. But then again, judging by previous reviews, people who have ordered meat pizzas have also received veggies they didn't order as toppings, so they're obviously just completely careless.
This store needs to realise what a big deal it is for someone who is vegan or vegetarian to end up with bits of meat etc on their pizzas. Not to mention someone who is lactose intolerant or celiac ending up with dairy or gluten in their orders. Getting the ingredients right is not only the most important part of your service, but also the easiest. All it takes is a tiny bit of care and to stop carelessly flicking ham into the pineapple etc.
NEVER ordering from this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered a vegetarian 'Vegorama' gluten-free pizza from here on new years eve and much to my surprise it came with a lovely helping of pepperoni on it. Rang the store and complained and they offered to make the pizza again. Collected the pizza (whilst my partner's went stone cold and we missed the event we were taking the pizza to), and took the new pizza home. For a second time, this has random bits of pineapple and olives on the pizza. We tweeted the store and made an official complaint. The manager failed to ring us within the 48 hours stated, so the complaint was escalated and the manager rang and profusely apologised that this had happened twice. She offered a free pizza, side and drink when we next ordered from the store.
Although dubious and pretty disappointed, the manager was friendly and apologetic on the phone and much more professional than the one we had dealt with on the evening of the occurrence so we accepted. Ordered again tonight and stated when we made our order "can you make sure there is NO meat accidentally put on the pizza please". Took the free pizzas home and low and behold i found a piece of pineapple and several pieces of ham (thankfully I didn't have the misfortune of eating the meat this time). Took back to the store and was given another pizza for free but to be honest it has put me off ever having Dominos again, especially from this store.
Aside from the fact they are incompetent and unable to cross contaminate pizza toppings (which is worrying when ordering a gluten-free and vegetarian pizza) when we went in there to order tonight they were especially unprofessional- on their mobiles, swearing in front of customers and mocking them upon them leaving and just generally being pretty rude. Would never, ever order from here again and would discourage any gluten-free and vegetarian customers who don't wish their pizza to be cross contaminated multiple times. Once is forgivable but two, three...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSilliest policy I ever encountered. You can have a pizza delivered from here for $15 (soggy and lukewarm) but if you want to pick it up yourself it will cost you almost $4 more. I decided to forgo the experience entirely. After all if they are this insane, who knows what they might do while making your pizza? I actually asked to speak to the store manager and was told by the young girl serving me that she WAS the manager. So the manager here makes decisions of this level of ridiculousness. I actually checked with some other stores to see if this policy is universal and it appears it is. I would really love to hear or read an explanation for what dominos thinks anyone gains by this, in my opinion, really stupid policy. It just seems like an attempt to irritate customers. Maybe they have too many customers? Well if that is the case, the policy is working because they have at least...
