Evo Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

It's good. Coffee is a bit pricey. Actually, all items are a bit pricey, but there is not much around to compete, so I guess that is why. Place is ok, but the toilet area is just not nice, and the kids' toys need a clean every now and then. They are pretty gross (both, kids toys and toilet area) Edit: Extra star for replying! Food is great, and I understand prices seen grocery prices, but coffee is expensive compared to the average coffee price pretty much anywhere in Brisbane (and I'm including fancy places in here). Also, there is a credit card surcharge, which makes it even more expensive, while I understand that banks are the worst things or whatever your case is with the credit card surcharge, I am the one paying your fee for the machine plus the price of the coffee, and I can't claim that fee on...

The place itself has a nice setting, back yard in the garden type of feel. The food is okay, for what you're paying you would expect great food but it just wasn't. My partners eggs weren't cooked properly, you could still see the clear egg whites. We paid $63 which doesn't seem too bad, although it was for two meals and two drinks, just not worth the price they charge you. They don't tell you things are extra when paying for the meal, they just add it to the bill. For instance, changing the poached eggs to scrabbled costs extra, adding whipped cream is extra, a drop of hollandaise is extra. Either way it was an okay experience. I would rather go to Andonis...

Visited a lovely cafe with yummy food in the burbs - @evoespresso 🤗 . The food: ~ Korean Fried Chicken 🍗 ~ Breakfast Potato Croquettes with extra bacon 🥓 . Super happy with my Fried Chicken choice. It’s that kind which isn’t super over fried , which is great. The Chicken thigh pieces are still juicy and the sauce coats it perfectly 🤤 . Wifey’s potato croquettes were super filling. Mushy potato inside and a crispy coating outside with loads of halloumi pieces and 2 poached eggs - this dish is super filling and satisfying 👌🏻 .
