Urban Saigon — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Genuinely one of my absolute favourite spots to eat and my partner will never go anywhere else for pho again! The lemongrass pork noodle salad is absolutely amazing! The spring rolls and rice paper rolls are always hitting the spot and honestly the food never misses and is priced perfectly. The food is decent, can't complain about that but the service I received was pretty lacklustre, very cold looks from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. There was no one else there at the time apart from some takeaway orders but I can see all the tables are still dirty and so I'm forced to pick the cleanest one which still wasn't cleaned when I sat down there. I can hear the staff chatting in Vietnamese I assume and laughing in the kitchen area but maybe they need to spend more time keeping the dining area clean and presentable when customers are already there. Have been a regular since first finding Urban Saigon after they'd been open for about a month. The Grilled Chicken or BBQ Pork Bhan Mi are my favourite menu items, and for the price is excellent value imho. It's only a small place, but they have outdoor seating as well. The staff are always friendly and give you a genuine smile whenever you walk in, and Take Away (my option, living only a few mins away helps) is normally ready quickly.
