Pretty standard experience. It’s more a takeaway place so I guess you can’t expect something fantastic. The lady at the front was quite efficient at her job but there was no real sense of service- I guess she was just there to get the job done. She wasn’t super friendly or welcoming or anything, just took the order and that was it. It was good that she clarified how spicy we wanted it?

The guy who made the food was pretty good at what he did. Quick and easy. It doesn’t seem like the most hygienic or sanitary but overall seems fine.

Bought Hot Star at Garden City Mt Gravatt Qld on August 10 2025 2:30 pm Sunday. After I noticed that my chicken dont have enough spices, went back to ask for more. I ask the staff if she can put more spices as mine dont have enough. She just looked at me and when I reach out for the container she started shouting. Told her that you dont need to shout and just talk in a friendly manner but she kept shouting. She only stop when I keep telling her that you dont need to shout for two or three times. It’s the worst experience I have ever had. When the no1 original chicken was ready, the big size man did not serve the chicken in time. After 5 minutes, when I got the chicken it was soggy. When I requested the fresh one. He said it will take 5 more minutes. I said I could wait. After few seconds he said “I only can either take the soggy chicken or get refund”. I said I just want the fresh chicken. He rudely rejected me. I hope the owner will notice this and treat this seriously. It’s not the first time that I had this bad experience.
