Touch of India Garden City — Restaurant in Brisbane City

The food is always great, but lacking in service- need to be more friendly and clear with customers, because we are the ones making your business money. Indian food is always good, but to make it great you need to put the customers first. I've come to this store 5 times and 4 out of 5 times I have experienced poor customer service not just toward myself but to the other customers in line with me ( ignoring customer requests is a habit I have seen) I believe that customers will always come back for the food, which shouldn't be taken for granted because customers can only tolerate poor service only for so long. The main reason, this restaurant serves Halal meat which is good for only Muslims. When i enquired non Halal meat I was told everything is sold is Halal. They are forcing everyone to eat Halal which is not fair. Beware Hindu and Christian customers, whenever U are buying meat products please check if they are selling Halal meat. Silently Halal meat industry is expanding with cheap meats supplies and while they are cheating by imposing everyone to eat Halal. I am outraged! Horrible service, way below average food.

I was waiting at the counter for about 1 minute (I was the only person to be served) right in front of two workers. They were just talking to each other in a foreign language, one of them was texting on her phone at the same time. I was trying to get the attention for almost a minute, every time I said something they just ignored me.

The food was sub-par and overpriced, $20 for a small amount of butter chicken, a stale papadum and way too much rice. Had next to no flavour, and a horrible, overcooked and dry texture.
