Hi everyone, I just wanted to share something I witnessed early Saturday morning (around 3:15 AM - 3:35 AM) while I was doing DoorDash and had gone to Bombay Dhaba to pick up an order.
The restaurant was quite busy, so I parked in the lot and waited. While I was waiting, a black car pulled up in front of the restaurant — loud music blasting, doors open. About 2–3 girls and 2 boys got out and started dancing loudly and wildly, completely disregarding the fact that people were quietly eating and spending quality time inside. It felt embarrassing to see such behaviour, and on top of that, it created unnecessary chaos.
To make things worse, as I started walking towards the restaurant, I saw a guy — clearly intoxicated — urinating right outside the front entrance. Yes, in front of the restaurant. I’ll attach the photo of where exactly he was standing. Even after he saw me, he continued. I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing — especially in a country that has given us so much.
While I was standing outside waiting for the food, I heard 3–4 guys abusing and cursing loudly, complaining about the restaurant and encouraging each other to leave bad reviews. Meanwhile, the staff inside were clearly doing their best, running around trying to manage the crowd — and yet they stayed polite and respectful through it all.
It really broke my heart to see this. This isn’t just about one night or one restaurant — it’s about us. About how we represent our community, our country, and our culture in a land that has welcomed us.
Why are we, especially the younger generation, carrying such ego and entitlement? Why do we feel the need to act like this in public spaces? And then we wonder why Aussies sometimes look down upon us.
Let’s be better than this. Respect the community, the culture, and the people around you. If you have genuine complaints, take them to the proper authorities. Don’t abuse hardworking staff or disrespect the place that’s feeding you.
Let’s stop shaming our own community through our actions.
Thanks...

We visited your restaurant with high hopes, especially looking forward to some Indian authentic dishes- you also had Nepali meals advertised which was foolish of us to try. Unfortunately, our experience left us quite disappointed.
We ordered the Chowmein, and honestly, it was one of the most underwhelming dishes of the evening. Chowmein is a fairly simple and popular dish, but what we were served didn’t resemble it much at all. The noodles were overcooked, lacked proper seasoning, and the dish was watery — it felt like a confused mix between pasta and noodles with no real identity. At $20, we expected a lot more in terms of both quality and authenticity.
The cheese garlic naan was also average — around 4/10. It lacked the freshness and richness we usually associate with this item. The butter chicken fared slightly better at 5/10 but still didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of depth of flavor or texture- there was no proper amount of butter. These are staple dishes, and when you're charging premium prices, the taste and quality should match.
We do want to highlight that the wait staff were quite attentive and polite, and we appreciate that — a solid 6/10 for service.
Honestly, we would have preferred staying home and cooking ourselves. The overall meal just didn’t live up to the pricing or the promise of traditional Nepali/Indian cuisine.
If the quality improves, we would be happy to come back and even recommend you to others. But right now, it feels like a missed...
