This place is the double D of dumplings: Disappointing Dumplings. my wife makes the best dumpling, we can help you out if you're struggling. their's were 100% frozen & quite literally foul. you can tell because the the texture of the mince turns powdery & gritty straight away in your mouth & the taste is not good. I ordered pork prawn & pork prawn chive, one of them had no prawn. it was appx 1.30pm Wednesday 27/7. Also from another visit they were not actually authentic fried dumpling, they just put boiled ones on a bed of some crunchy odd tasting concoction so they are crunchy odd tasting boiled dumpling, pan fried are superior in every way possible. The idea here is great & organised, but what a complete waste of time, your business is good dumpling & you fall short so your franchise fees are being wasted & you could go broke. best to advertise no frozen dumpling if your ratings have fallen. always have your most popular mince mix ready in the fridge to make fresh ones if somebody's requested dumpling isn't available, don't kill your return business by giving frozen. they have mr Zhou's dumpling in nz & they are authentic & tasty & always full tables & that is the reason people go back. they are $18 for 20pcs & they have 24 Different Delicious fillings, which is too many I think, but that is their money so I guess the effort goes in. they also offer frozen ones if the type you want isn't available or if you want to save some money they are "cheaper". freezing your dumpling is not the way to save money & cut costs as it will drastically reduce your revenue to the point of "no business". I notice you ignore the "frozen feedback" about the dumpling as you aren't supposed to freeze them, they are not a freezable product especially at dine in quality. (shouldn't ignore it pi....s people off). Next time I'll stop in at the asian grocery get some dumpling wrappers, some beef mince & fresh coriander, chop whizz the coriander small amount of soy sauce & boil them til they float, that is a Delicious Dumpling. your robots are fun but very noisy if your a return diner. I did get some nice dumpling from you once but it's so hit n miss I...
Read moreUnacceptable Dining Experience: Inedible food and poor customer service!!! I would give 0 star if I can. The crab roe & prawn fried rice was so salty that it was impossible to eat. I tried taking just a bite, but the taste was overpowering.
To make matters worse, the waiter was extremely unhelpful when I asked if there was anything that could be done about the extremely salty fried rice. Instead of offering to replace it with something else or apologize for the poor quality of the dish, he said "we were just following our recipe. There's nothing I can do." This complete lack of concern for the customer was extremely disappointing.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Their dumplings taste worst than the frozen dumplings sold in Asian groceries. The food was not worth the money and the service was lacking. If you're looking for a good dining experience,...
Read moreWouldn’t go again. Food was mediocre at best. Dumplings tasted like they were from a frozen packet. Hard to order and pay, you have to use the QR code on your phone and you have to pay before you eat. Asked if the soup was spicy and the lady said no… it was spicy, and my son couldn’t eat it which is fine. So we asked for a TA container, but they are .30c, which is fine, but wait there is a surcharge on the container because it’s a public holiday. The food didn’t fit in the container. We asked for a bag too which is 10c maybe a surcharge but we didn’t get that far. Spent nearly $100 and wouldn’t throw in a bag for the undersized overflowing 30c TA container. Overall just a very sub par experience for mediocre food. Won’t be doing that again. To many alternatives with good food and...
