I never really post reviews, but am very irritated at a male worker who pretty much accused me of lying just to get a free cheeseburger, of all things lol
I went through the drive through, looking very tragic, not thinking I would have to leave the comforts of my car to pick up my order, which is why we were in drive through to begin with. My order consisted of 2 online orders. 2x 24pk nuggs, 2x fries & second order a mega meal. A male worker gave me one bag supposedly with both orders (unsure why they were bagged together, they were both separate orders).
We usually double check our order before we leave the window, just to avoid not having to come back if something is missing.
Tell me why this male worker is standing at the window, tryna rush me off, saying “YES everything is in there”, while my passenger is double checking. He is visibly annoyed. Me having anxiety about what’s happening, I drove off just as my passenger says “no my cheeseburger & fry is not here”. This was from the mega meal.
At this point I’m irritated. This is why we check to avoid this very problem. But I couldn’t check because this man was rushing us to leave. He even had the next persons order in his hands halfway out the window, as to indicate he’s done serving us. I had to go park my car, get out looking scruffy as hell, go to the counter to the same worker. I tell him “I literally just came from the drive through. The cheeseburger & fry is not in there. We tried to check but you rushed us off”. He tells me “I know I put it in there”… IN WHERE? Your a hole?! Because no it wasn’t in the bag. It wasn’t so much his response, it was the tone. Insinuating I was lying just to get a free cheeseburger. Sir, if I was lying, why would I choose a small cheeseburger to lie about & not a whole 24 pk nuggets, or a double qtr pounder? I don’t care for a cheeseburger that cost a few dollars, but if we paid for it, we sure as hell are going to get what we pay for.
So the male worker starts to walk back to the end of the kitchen, he says something to his co workers & all of them just erupt in cheer & clapping. Could be unrelated but just rubbed me the wrong way, considering he just left me standing at the counter, while they’re all ha-ha-ing in the back.
Anyway go check your kitchen cameras, check the car park cams, I even offered him to come check the car, no bloody cheeseburger or fry from the order was in the bag. Unless you put an invisible burger & fry in my bag. I don’t know if he was racially profiling me, but just because I’m Polynesian, doesn’t mean I’m trying to get free food. Just because I’m a big girl, does not mean I’m trying to get free food lol good heavens. You doing too much over a cheeseburger sir. This cheeseburger money did not come from your pay check, it came from mine.
Side note, the lady that helped me was kind & even gave me fresh fries for that other male workers...
Read moreMy kid had a food poisoning after having a meal here. The manager said noone has come to complain about it yet and she wants to investigate and after checking camera she said all went well, nothing was wrong with their food preparation and cooking. I said well, do you know how long does it take for food poisoning to kick in? This is basically a lie to cover their end. I totally get it. She even told me she cant give me a credit or refund. This is totally a disrespect to me as a customer. Listen up Ba (the manager name - I don’t want to expose it yet but you know who I am talking about if you are reading it Ba), who wants any of this when your kid is so sick with food poisoning??? Your refund money is nothing compared to my kid’s health, and with medication and treatment my kid is going through and I did say I don’t need your refund. Keep it to yourself if you think it’s too much. Seriously who is after any freebies using their chid’s food poisoning as a claim?? Mind you, my order was not small. What I paid was not little but as long as my child is happy and got a treat on the weekend. My child hardly has any Maccas but this weekend we decided to treat her a big meal. I told to that manager that am not after any refund or credit but I wanted to let the store know so they need to take more caution and be more careful when preparing food thats all. I am taking my daughter to see GP. Poor girl, she threw up all night and the morning, she got diarrhoea and now fever! This might take long but McDonald management at this store needs to seriously look back on their food handling and obviously customer service. She doesn’t even have any compassion or kindness to ask how my child is doing and things like I am sorry your child is experiencing it etc. I don't need an apology but common, don’t you have a heart? Nothing like that at all. Oh dear, a big No as a manager. The owner of this franchise store, you need to monitor your store and your staff and I hope you read my review. And of course I’ll ensure I am following up this with my GP and if possible a test to prove it. My kid had nothing except her Maccas meal and I am sure it came from it. This store needs to take a responsibility for it’s hygiene quality and food...

The food was right on par with what I've come to expect from McDonald's, a consistent display of the brand's dedication to quality. The scrumptious burgers were cooked to perfection, maintaining that delicate balance between juiciness and flavour. The fries, crispy golden rods of potato goodness, were just as satisfying, providing that perfect companion to my meal.
As a tradesperson, my job often requires me to be on the move and have ready access to certain amenities. This McDonald's branch brilliantly catered to this need. I particularly appreciated the convenience of having a clean and well-maintained toilet at the premises. The availability of a dedicated place to wash my hands was also extremely valuable, making it easier to ensure cleanliness before and after meals. This aspect of convenience is something that greatly improves my day-to-day routine, and for this, the outlet deserves high praise.
To top it off, this McDonald’s location featured ample parking spaces. In a world where parking can often be a major hassle, the spacious parking lot was a breath of fresh air. Regardless of the size or type of my vehicle, I found a convenient spot to park with ease. This detail, while seemingly simple, significantly enhanced the overall convenience of my visit.
In conclusion, my experience at this McDonald's branch exceeded expectations in several key areas: staff friendliness, food consistency, availability of essential amenities, and convenient parking.
