Noodle Box Newmarket — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Do not go to this Noodle Box, if I could rate 0 stars I would. Very terrible customer service, manager was very rude and was blaming Uber Eats for them getting the order wrong, I even called them before placing the order on Uber Eats to make sure that the order was Gluten Free fried rice.

My uncle called when we saw the order was wrong, and they said they changed it to noodles, saying that rice isn't gluten free? Like since when has rice not been gluten free, gluten free means that you use gluten free sauce, the order was for my father who is admitted to hospital, it just made his afternoon more miserable because he was hungry and couldn't eat the food the hospital gave him because it had crumbs. And now I see they don’t deliver to the hospital anymore, well for me anyways, which is really petty.

Also the Noodle Box said they could make another one but told my uncle to come and pick it up, when he's at the hospital with my dad and couldn't leave him alone for too long and he didn't have any transportation.

I'm looking through these other reviews and see they're consistently getting orders wrong, do yourselves a favour, just go to...

This location is a disgrace on the reputation of the noodle box franchise. Most locations have excellent service, but not this place. They provided the worst service at any fast food restaurant I have ever been too. We ordered at the wrong location (Newmarket instead of Cannon Hill) then immediately called to cancel the order and replace it, before they start making it. They pickup and the employee doesn't know how to cancel the order, and says they're waiting for their manager and will call back, and from then on the communication ended. We call 10 times after about 10 minutes and they refuse to pick up. Eventually after 30 minutes of calling we call again and finally get to talk to the manager, who honestly should not have a job. He says that they've already made the order and we can "just come pick it up" (it's over an hours drive away). We explain the situation and he refuses to relent, resulting in him becoming extremely unprofessional. Got food poisoning from here. I should have checked the Google reviews before ordering, so I’ll accept some blame for that.

I love Noodle Box as an overall (and would thoroughly recommend some of the others! 🥰) so I ordered from here with hopes of a fulfilling and delicious feed.

I was then violently ill for three days afterwards.

My housemate and I had eaten the same meals in the days leading up to it, but only I had the noodle box. Housemate was fine. I absolutely wasn’t.

The meal itself, even while eating, was pretty bland. I’d ordered extra so my housemate could have some and so I could take some for lunch the next day, and we ended up just throwing the whole lot out. As someone who is super conscious of food wastage, that is usually a difficult task.

No thought needed for this occurrence - was a huge waste of money and health.
