Roll'd Brisbane Airport — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I've never been to such a rude joint before. Ordered for no chilli in my pho noodles and the guy working in the back served me a bowl full of chilli seeds. I told him there was a mistake and he gave me a odd look before talking my bowl away and the only thing he did was pick out a few floating seeds and gave me the same bowl. I tried it and it was bloody spicey and there was so many chillies on the bottom under the noodles. I went back to the cashier instead and asked if it's normal for no chilli pho to be still so spicey. She said no and gave a look to the man who made my noodles and then apologized to me and said I could have a new bowl. Then right in front of my face they both started talking rudely in Vietnamese without realising I could understand what they are saying! While i am writing this review, I can hear the man right now saying I should get off my phone to hurry up and go away in viet! I'll never go to rolld again! Hi, I was one of the first costumer today exactly 8:30 this morning. I was with my son and my son brought his precious Teddy bear with him, I called your number to ask if the teddy bear still there but no answer. The phone says always busy. We couldn’t come back because the airline wouldn’t allow us to exit the plane, Anyway, I’m asking a favour please because the number here is no answer. I will try my luck here I hope the staff will read this. The teddy bear is wearing blue. I hope you can help us. My son is very very sad and we can’t help, Teddy is very special to my son, he had teddy since he was a baby 🙏🥲 please help. We are going back to Brisbane airport on Sunday 9th of October. For starters, the staff was very friendly and nice. They cooked the food within a reasonable time and prices were fine.

What wasn’t so great? The food was really bland. I bought the Shrimp Bao buns and BBQ Chicken Bun/Noodle Salad (close to a Bun Ga Nuong). The Baos were pretty meh. I thought the wrap came out of a microwave, the veggies seemed to be from a grocery store salad mix, but the fried shrimp w/ sauce was actually fine. They just did not taste good as a whole dish so avoid.

The BBQ Chicken was interesting. I was expecting the chicken to have some char or BBQ-like texture and at least taste but it was like eating frozen-to-pan oddly-tasting chicken. The veggies and nuoc cham sauce were quite nice but they added on some fried, crunchy skin or fat that did not belong. Bun Ga Nuong is quite hard to mess up but Roll’d managed to do that here.
