Royal Charcoal Chicken — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Really disappointed with this place brought the special family pack for $40 which included one normal chook a serve of chips a medium gravy medium salad and 125 drink

However I should have clarified the size of the serving of chips. We ended up with 27 chips that were fine Except size especially saying family pack the chicken was quite small which I sort of get but not have had NO stuffing in there my favourite part personally completely empty carcass of a chicken. and charging $40 is outrageous You even get stuffing At the supermarkets when you buy a hot chook The smoky Charcoal flavour that was Beautiful, . The flavour of the chicken was great However chicken was poorly packaged and missing half its skin when we open this up at home

then we also selected pasta However, if you love just a bit of mayonnaise on top with capsicum and a bit of carrot toss through at least be fresh make it fresh. I thought it was because it was a full container of salad. I assumed it was a fresh salad. Undercooked pasta glug and stuck together very unpleasant

So so disappointed couldn’t take it back. Wasn’t driving back there that night if I lived locally to it I would’ve and I would never go back there again.

I literally felt like I got robbed when I got home with what we received but the chicken did have a nice flavour and they certainly knew I was the customer that couldn’t return what they had sold me because I asked them to just pack it up a little better because I had to travel for 45 minutes so they knew I wasn’t coming back...

Have been to this shop on a number of occasions when passing through, it was great! massive kebabs with chicken, chips, sauce and filled you for days to come. However, I went there on Sunday with my wife and was left underwhelmed on this occasion. Not sure if the management has changed or the person building the kebab did not know how to make a true kebab. It was 70% salad, no chips in the kebab and couldn't even taste the sauce at all. Was a shadow of its former self.

The staff member who completed our order presented the kebab without gloves, every other staff member was wearing gloves. We asked her if she prepared the food with gloves on, her response was a nod and left our kebab on the table as she walked away. We did not physically see her prepare without gloves but her body language and reaction suggested she may not have, benefit of the doubt there.
