Our first visit to this restaurant and certainly will be a regular ant this restaurant after a wonderful and welcoming experience. The staff are pleasant and the chef is amazing. We had chef recommended chicken curry and a non veg platter for 2. Chicken was delicious and just melt in your mouth. Mango kulfi was very good and a traditional Indian sweet dish Mung dal halwa was certainly a pleasant surprise on the menu. The atmosphere was great especially if you would like a quiet and peaceful environment. Very neat and tidy.

Ambience is great and the smells of herbs and spices coming from the kitchen were enough to get the tastebuds wanting dinner. The waitstaff were very attentive and pleasant. Has a wonderful experience with my Family. Love to go frequently.

Wasted $100+ here tonight. Don’t know why there are so many good reviews. Food was tasteless, saffron rice was just white rice with food colouring. Food was watered down, tasteless and not enjoyable at all. Would not recommend.

I don’t often leave bad reviews but this was necessary. Last night 8th June we placed an order for the first time, and waited 2 hours for our order. The delivery driver then got lost, it took us 15 mins to direct her- she was only a few doors down! At one point drove right past us as we waved and asked her to stop (but continued to drive on and disappear down the road). She lacked basic navigational skills, and I was told on the phone the driver was new. Our house is massive- you can’t miss it. It’s on a main road near a train station. We clearly described our location to help, and are not in a convoluted spot. We order takeout multiple times per week, and never have delivery issues with other food services. For context, we missed the drivers call as we were on the phone to the restaurant (for the second time) following up on the order. She only had to wait a few minutes for us to call back and it certainly didn’t contribute to the 2 hour wait time. We were told 1 hour and 45 mins after placing the order that the driver was finally on her way. Our food arrived stone cold in a plastic bag and the order was wrong. That’s on the restaurant, not us. If your drivers can’t deliver to our area- please don’t offer it as an option on your website. We are only 15 mins away. It’s not an unreasonable distance. First world problem, but this just way too poor of an experience to ignore. The restaurants response demonstrates their lack of customer service and that prompted me to leave the review. I otherwise wouldn’t...

So this restaurant brought an end to our all time question "Where to go to have Indian food?"

Fabulous food and great customer service. This was our first time but will not be our last. We ordered Veg. Makhni, Paneer Tikka Masala, Jaipuri veg, Khoya Kaju for kids and Biryani, along with Buttermilk. For the naan, we ordered Cheese Spinach naan, Cheese naan, Shamiyana Social naan. Each and every item was very tasty.

Do try Veg Makhni and Shamiyana Special naan. At last, order Biryani and if you are lucky, Chef himself will come to deliver the order on your table. That will be your moment to thank him as you might have found food amazing already. So do pass a word of appreciation and compliment the chef. Even the chef of Tanduri naan is also fabulous. Naan was very soft.

Overall great place. Atleast for us, we won't discuss "kya jaishu?" (where do we...

First time ... Last time!!! My four menu items had increased by $10 since the last letterbox drop; 20% inflation?!?! The Paneer Mutter was okay, at first ... until I realised some of the peas were firm and fresh and others just turned to mush. The Lamb in the Saag tasted like ... it had been cooked in water and then added to the sauce. Very odd flavour of the lamb! I never thought I'd see the day when I said, "That's too much garlic!", but after trying the garlic fried rice I've earnt a new respect for the taste of raw garlic in the excess! My tongue has stopped burning, but is still tingling and I think I'll be tasting garlic for at least the next few days. Lastly, my hopes for even the garlic and cheese naan were dashed. Again the garlic tasted sharp, like it was raw, and the oil saturated the paper bag. $55 thrown into the bin. I won't ever...
