Visited Stanton for breakfast and ordered the Stanton Breakfast.
When the meal arrived, it did not have all the items listed on the menu. I asked the waiter if the sausages were still part of the menu, he wasn't sure and needed to go back to the kitchen to check. He came back and apologised that the sausages should have been part of the meal and will bring them out to me.
I understand these things happen and it was not an issue, the waiter was polite and corrected the error.
He brought out the sausages quite promptly and I placed them on my plate and continued to eat my meal. To my disappointment when I cut into one of the sausages, the meat was still raw inside, the meat was not firm and whitish like the outer layer but pink, raw and soft as you would find with raw mince meat.
I called the waiter and let him know that the sausages were still raw, but he just politely smiled and commented that it did look a bit pink but didn't seem like he wanted to do anything about it and I didn't want to make a fuss so just left it at that.
Due to it being still raw, I didn't eat the sausages because the cooked outer layer was white so it's likely to be made of either chicken or pork which you shouldn't be eating if not fully cooked, I left them on the plate but ate everything else.
Shortly after my meal, I felt quite ill and this was the only meal (food/drink) I had all day since it being my first meal of the day. This was not a good experience for me at all as I have been feeling ill all day since breakfast and felt I should say something to let you know. I hope this feedback finds its way back to the kitchen for improvement as I wouldn't wish this to happen to anyone...
Read moreIt’s nearly impossible to get in touch with them. When I finally did, I spoke to a lovely lady, but she didn't speak English very well. If you're not going to reply promptly, at least ensure that when someone does respond, they're able to understand the person they're speaking with.

Accent vs. Understanding of English:
Accent: This refers to the way someone pronounces words. It's about the sound, not the substance. A person can have a strong accent but still be completely fluent in the language. Think of it as the flavor in speech—just because it’s different doesn’t mean it’s incorrect or lacks depth. Understanding of English: This is about comprehension and the ability to communicate effectively. It involves grasping the meaning behind words, phrases, and sentences. A person with a good understanding of English can interpret nuances, idioms, and complex ideas, regardless of their accent.
Just to clarify, I never mentioned anything about her accent. I simply pointed out that she didn’t understand English very well. So, the next time you find yourself confused, try to remember that an accent is merely a regional or cultural touch to speech, while understanding the language involves actually getting the point—something that evidently requires more than just hearing the words.
This should make your point clear and emphasize the distinction...
Read moreMy friend and I visited this restaurant on 9/8/2025 for lunch as it is conveniently located near her workplace because she only had 30 minutes for lunch. From the moment we walked in the staff we interacted with were really friendly they made me feel welcome (which is a new experience for me as a woman of color). Unfortunately, the pizza took longer than we expected as my friend was running out of time she needed to go back to work. We followed up with the lovely waitress (Rocio) who was attending to us and she was very apologetic and quickly went to find out what the hold-up was in the kitchen. She then informed us that given the inconvenience the food would be discounted heavily, I was so impressed and that simple gesture made us feel like valued customers. When the food arrived I can confirm it was definitely worth the wait and the prices were surprisingly decent for the calibre of restaurant. I was checked out by another lovely staff member Reuben who again made me feel seen and heard # people may not always remember what you say but they will always remember how you made them feel. Again thank you Rocio and Reuben and the management team for bringing back the humanity factor to the...
