I have eaten from Guzman & Gomez- healthy food , spoken to the staff at Crafty Cuts - they seem nice & friendly and have healthy meals at reasonable prices - recommend. Perhaps an all girl rock or pop band would like to change one consonent of this name, to inspire a band or punk rock band. They have to eat healthy. In Spanish recipies a home made egg rich mayonnaise is often an important salad ingredient. Here, the salads are delicious but the salad dressing a bit scantily clad. I got food poisoning twice from two different Soul Origin outlets. I won't eat from Soul Origin again even if it's free. Peter Shepard shoes often have great designs and since I once worked in luxury footware sales can see the value in spending more. But the staff say that generally Brisbane buyers do not yet have the level of disposable income, or the desire to buy their shoes at the pace of other comparable shoe stores in Australian cities. Oxford clothing often have great fabrics and unique designs but it varies from season to season. I do like that this shopping centre isn't as pedestrian congested as Myers and David Jones centres. Aquila shoes is often the shoe of choice of television programs hosts, quized and the like - the store seems to play a sequence of music identical to the set of music of premium burlesque clubs of the 1990's. The names and arrangement ofothe shoe display might remind shoppers of hosts of that era.The pricing structure is akin to the prime years of my burlesque performer career, age, earnings in one evening, dates, days...have a browse.
There is a store at the crest of the escalator with everything young, trendy, and somewaso chic. What's the name? Clothes, jewelry, travel accessories, and all things girly. Nice staff and somewhat eclectic. Take a closer look. ( Also a child's reading book in Asia) along with lower Mid Range Asian inspired earrings.
The security staff are nice, but one mature Aussie lady security guard could be a bit more patient at closing time. She seems to want to shuffle staff, shoppers, and business owners out not a minute later. Shouting, at them like sheep on a farm.
I wouldn't like to be the landlord at this present time, when tennants in the food court don't renew their space you know there is a real administration problem.
The property management staff in the basement have cocky smartmouth jealous immature attitudes. There seem to be some issues with retaining commercial tennants on the ground and first floor. Perhaps if there were a speciality supermarket on the ground floor this centre could compete with Queens Plaza & Myers Centre. I bought a coffee from Coco Bliss and thought it was the wrong size because it seemed like a standard coffee had shrunk. McDonald's gives millions to their charity every year Ronald McDonald House but refused to give me faucet water in the last week but not other times. The law works that if it were a hot day and am in the shopping centre that if I fainted then the attendant would be liable for all medical costs. It is an American company and it their country refusal would be illegal. More McDonald s are closing than opening world wide due to these factors & that the public are waking up to how unhealthy the food is. If you ate this food alone and nothing else, for a year you would probably have an early death. It's a shame because this shopping centre is nicely decorated. They keep having marketing and advertising promotions like win a Holiday to Surfers Paradise which is within a hours public transport ride...
Read moreFantAsia: Hit n miss. Very westernised. There are certain items that are okay on this menu but there are ones that are absolutely horrible. They hand out heaps of samples when you walk past but be aware that small portions often taste different to large portions. I had the Saigon Chicken Rice Noodles that were drowned in so much sauce, it wasn't nice at all. But on the little spoon it was. I also had a card which gave me free DimSims but I asked for Dumplings and it was drowned in some sauce I don't know ... and they were awful to eat. I can only guess what the DimSims are like. Ew. The noodle soups are awful with really pasty tasting wontons and the noodles are way too soft and overdone. I like the Tokyo Beef with Brocolli and I love their own mix of Special Rice. I bought a bag of that rice and I like their special mixed drinks like Lemongrass Tea and Lychee Tea. For authentic tastes, please visit some...
