I enter the store to the comforting smell of subway, as keen as ever to indulge into my regular order, a footlong meatball sub. To be greeted by such a dry and blunt young lady was a shock as subways service is always friendly. She seemed to be receiving help from an older staff member, therefore assuming it may have been her first day on the job. I thought to myself, "maybe I'll cut her some slack" but no! I was disgusted with the service, whether it be a first time rookie or a seasoned veteran, i expect friendly service. To Kenmore subway I ask, why employ someone who makes customers feel unwanted and not only that but why employee someone that makes horrendous subs. Sun dried tomatoes added to my sub without even asking completely ruined the taste of the whole feed. In addition, a close associate of mine, a coeliac warriors gluten free needs could not be met. Read moreUnfortunately, my experience at Subway Kenmore was highly disappointing. The service was incredibly slow, compounded by a lack of basic customer service skills. Staff demonstrated zero listening ability, which made placing a simple order unnecessarily frustrating.
Despite being open for over four hours, much of the stock was either unavailable or still being prepared, which is unacceptable for a franchise that prides itself on quick service and variety. Furthermore, the space was poorly organised, with chairs and signs obstructing access. This setup would make it extremely difficult, if not impossible, for someone using a wheelchair or with mobility challenges to navigate.
The food itself was overpriced and underwhelming, falling far short of the “sandwich specialist” standard Subway claims to offer. Overall, this location fails to deliver even the basics of what you’d expect from a Subway experience. I would not recommend it choose...
Read morePushy staff and customers both. If you are not a regular customer and unfamiliar with the menu items, you feel rushed to make a quick decision before even seeing the options. Menu is confusing and not clear. The one with the title of "additional ingredients" seems to in fact be the main menu. No one explains it or offers any help. Just blank stares. A fine opportunity for the "gentleman" behind me to push in and order ahead of me.
Staff sort of mumble questions regarding ingredients along the way and expect you to know what they are talking about. There is an expectation that a person knows all the Subway order steps and ingredients. New customers aren't made welcome at all. No smiles to be seen anywhere at this place. Just a bad attitude.
To top it off, the sandwich was awful. How do you make a Turkey sub taste "fishy" gross!
