Tigers Asian Wok Kenmore — Restaurant in Brisbane City

My first review ever written, after calling the restaurant to give feedback and notify that I will write a review first. We spent over $100 on 3 of us, ordering so much food so we could enjoy leftovers. Sadly it all went in the bin as it was the worst takeaway, and worst Asian food we have ever had. Satay was like a burnt flavourless schnitzel. Pad Thai overly sweet with overcooked noodles drowning in sauce. 2 Singapore noodles, overcooked and too sweet and saucy, also tasted old. The Thai box which sounded delicious so we purchased 2, was not in a box and looked like curdled custard, absolutely flavour less and inedible, the texture actually made us all want to be sick. Even the dim sum lacked flavour and didn’t taste fresh. Utterly disappointed, after wanting to try a local business and give a new place a try. I am sure the chef wouldn’t eat this food. $100 straight in the bin with no dinner for anyone. I am not sure what’s happened to this place, but it’s nothing good. We ordered Singapore Noodles, Special Fried Rice & Chicken Cashew. As you can see from the pictures they must just use the same standard sauce for every dish these days; and while the dishes are coloured, they’re completely flavourless. The Chicken Cashew was supremely disappointing, consisting of onion, capsicum, carrot, and I’m hoping not off, chicken, as it tasted like it was off. The special fried rice, the special part must have been that we paid for premium and got rice with nothing in it other than rice & sauce. The Singapore Noodles was not Singapore Noodles, it was unflavoured brown sauce noodles. This whole meal just sucked and they are obviously scrimping out on the basics to save money but I think they’ll just end up saving people from eating there again. Too bad as the girl who served us when picking up the order was lovely & even gave us free...

I recently tried takeout from Kenmore Tigers Asian Wok, and it was awesome! The Chinese food they serve is seriously delicious. I ordered classics like sweet and sour chicken and stir-fried noodles, and man, they nailed the flavors. Every bite was bursting with that real Chinese taste.

The portions they gave me were huge, so I definitely didn't go hungry. The packaging was solid, too, keeping everything hot and fresh until I got home.

The staff was cool when I went to pick up my order. They were friendly and got things done quickly, so I didn't have to wait around forever.

Overall, I had a great experience with Kenmore Tigers Asian Wok. If you're craving some legit Chinese food, this place is legit. Whether you dine in or grab takeout like I did, you won't be disappointed. Give it a shot and enjoy those awesome...
