Red Rooster Kenmore — Restaurant in Brisbane City

The food was alright .. but the pieces of chicken were so tiny, some of the pieces were really dry , however not all the pieces. We got a family Fried pack with 8 pieces of chicken , large mash and gravy , slaw , large Pepsi, 2x large chips for $33.45. The chips were way too salty , even asking them when order to go light on salt. We were dining in, so When given the order , we asked if they had any paper plates , they said no , because we also had a 1.25L Pepsi, we asked if they had any paper cups , they said no . Only gave us 2 tiny wooden teaspoons for the mash and gravy and slaw between the 5 of us , and that's with 3 younger kids .

How are you supposed to eat dining in , when you are not given any paper plates , and how are you supposed to drink between 5 people , without paper cups. The mash and gravy , 90% of the container was all gravy . As per photo. I also put a piece of chip right beside the chicken to see how big the chicken pieces Are in comparison.

Not to mention the environment, the tables were never cleaned by anyone the whole time I was there . The floor and walls were really dirty.

Won't be going back to that particular ...

I recently visited the Red Rooster Kenmore, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

When I ordered 6 pieces of Smoke BBQ chicken, I was told to wait for 15 minutes. I then decided not to proceed with the order and informed the staff of my decision. However, just as I was about to order something else, the staff (inside the kitchen) informed me that the chicken was now ready.

After driving 20 minutes back home, I was shocked to find that the box contained only 4 pieces of chicken and 4 unexpected wings, instead of the 6 pieces of chicken I had originally ordered. I don’t believe this was a simple mistake; it feels more like I was cheated. Additionally, the unexpected wings tasted weird.

This experience was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this store...

I would think twice about buying anything from this store. Tonight as I waited for take away food here, the assistant manager (stated on his name tag), busily engaged in conversation with the manager and a female cashier, stuck his hands into the chip bowl and repeatedly ate chips, in full view of waiting customers. Licking his fingers and repeating the action, touching customer food. I was so disgusted and concerned about health (in these covid times) that I've just made a formal food safety complaint, but feel it important to raise this in the form of a review, to warn other customers about the blatant disregard for customer health and safety in this store.
