Fine except for the bugs -

Ordered the miso soup, which was ok, not so strong or with tofu, but fine. Salmon nigiri was great. However I didn't get to the dim sum, because I found small bugs in the okonomiyaki. Such a shame because the waitress was really lovely, I brought her the plate to show her the bugs and she apologised but the other chefs made no effort to apologise or offer a refund. She took the plate to the back to presumably to show someone, no one else made any offer to do anything; I'd completely lost my appetite by then, so I just left. I dont understand how they are still operating. Perhaps this was just a bad night but the salmon smelt off and tasted foul like it had be sitting in the sun for too long. The fried chicken was only partially fried and felt there was a layer of old mashed peas from the unfried layer. The rice felt like it was scraped from the bottom of a pot and mixed with dish water. Only place so bad that i have ever been so disgusted by that I put the effort in to writing a review.

If you’d asked 12 months ago, this was 5* but recently, it’s just poor.

The poke bowls used to be great but the mess that was served this previous order was not great. (See attached photo)

The sashimi plates used to be really good and now they are thin bits of fish.

Edamame - quality is poor and small

I hope they bring their standards up otherwise this will be another venue on...
