This playground is a real standout, with a unique architectural design that instantly sparks a sense of adventure. The play structures are not only eye-catching but also cleverly built to challenge and excite kids, giving them plenty of opportunities to climb, explore, and let their imaginations run wild.
The space itself is generous, so even when it’s buzzing with families, there’s still plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It’s easy to see why it’s so popular – the atmosphere is full of energy and laughter, with children of all ages making the most of the facilities.
Parents will appreciate the practical touches too. Clean toilets are close at hand, and there are barbecue areas available, making it a great spot for family gatherings or weekend picnics. The combination of play, open space, and amenities makes it a place where you can easily spend a few hours without feeling rushed.
It’s the kind of playground that becomes a local favourite – not just for the kids who love the adventure, but also for the families who enjoy the welcoming, well-thought-out environment. A fantastic destination for an...

Read moreSome parks can feel too crowded or overly manicured, but this one strikes a good balance. Frew Park has enough open grassy areas to stretch out or have a quiet picnic, plus shaded paths that are perfect for a gentle walk. Visiting alone gave me the chance to notice small details. The way light filters through the trees, the quiet corners tucked away from view. Dogs on leashes added some life without disturbing the calm atmosphere. Maintenance is generally good, though a few patches of lawn looked slightly dry. The playground is small but tidy, not overwhelming if kids are around. There’s also a water fountain near the entrance, which is handy. On weekends, it might get busier, but during the week, it’s a lovely escape from city noise. Overall, it’s a well-thought-out urban park: clean, accessible, and relaxing. Worth a repeat visit when you need a bit of green...
