I went for a dinner with my friends and it was a little disappointing to be honest. There was nothing wrong with their food, in contrast their food was fresh and delicious. Meat was cooked well and their soup tasted good. The service, that's where things went wrong. We sat there for a while without anyone coming and checking on us until my friend went and requested someone to take an order from us. We have ordered entries and asked to come back for the mains. Then we ordered mains, which took very long time for them to deliver, given that there were only two tables in the restaurant including ours. No one took our dirty plates which were there since we finished our entries, no one replaced an empty bottle of water and checked if we needed anything until we asked for those things ourselves. Atmosphere wasn't that great either. The place needs a bit of renovation and better background music. I wish their service was a little better so I would've enjoyed the dinner more. I gave 4stars for their food, but because of their service I had to give overall 3stars as it would be unfair to other 4star places that I have rated in the past. Hope they take my feedback as a sign for improvement and fix...
Read moreI recently held my wedding ceremony and reception there, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect! First and foremost, the food was outstanding. Our guests raved about the delicious and beautifully presented dishes served during the reception. In addition to the amazing food, the customer service was exceptional. Throughout the planning process, we had several interactions with the owner (Mohsen), and each time, he was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our event was taken care of, and their professionalism was truly commendable. Furthermore, the ambience of the restaurant provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. Overall, we are extremely grateful to the team at Taste of Saffron Restaurant for making our wedding day unforgettable. Their attention to detail, delicious food, and exceptional service exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch wedding venue or dining experience. Thanks, Mohsen...
Read moreTaste and smell is subjective. I would consider myself as one with a wide palate. Nothing excites me more than finding a great restaurant that serves great food. As a walked in, I saw many Persians, and assumed food must be good if their own eat there, however I was disappointed as I ate and drank the saffron tea. Trust me, this is by far, not the best Persian food. The rice had an odd flavor. To me it tasted “fake”. I am pretty sure it was not flavoured with real butter but imitation butter. The meat came warm. We ordered The King and Queen plates. The lamb shank was pretty good but it came warm. The saffron tea was weak and tasted like chlorine. Maybe the water was not filtered? The saffron ice cream didn’t taste good either...... I was hoping for a pistachio rose ice cream which is what I usually order at Persian restaurants, but we got saffron tasting ice cream with walnuts which wasn’t balanced at all. If you love quality food and cook good yourself, you’ll be disappointed. Service was good though. I’m glad I tried it but I will never...
