The Pink Salmon — Restaurant in Brisbane City

This has long been my least preferred fish and chip shop in the area. Basically nothing has ever been tasty but we go there occasionally as its near the bus stop hoping something will be better (fish one time, burgers the next, chiko rolls & corn jacks the next, etc etc).

We've finally worked our way through the menu and I give up. Nothing has been well prepared, and its very expensive for what it is and when compared to other offerings in the area.

Fish (battered was greasy and unpleasant, grilled rubbery), burgers (meat unseasoned and strangely unpleasant), steak sandwich (tough and stringy) chips (even the kids camouflaging with tomato sauce wouldn't finish them), chiko rolls (not cooked properly) potato scallops (potato still raw in portions, thick and greasy batter), etc etc.

Finally this was the last time I ever attempt to give this business my custom. I honestly do not think I have ever had worst customer service in Australia than I did experience today.

In Tarragindi: Seafresh or Georgies Corner, or in Greenslopes: Chippers are all within a short drive of this place do yourself a favour and drive to one of...

Wow what a disappointment, 6 months ago I had genuinely wrote a 5 star review everything was on point from the fish to the chips in fact one of the better places in Brisbane. Just yesterday I returned with my partner and was extremely disappointed the fish and chips have most certainly gone down hill. The chips taste like they had been reheated up in the microwave and taste very stale and old, as for the fish it was good once a upon a time great tasting but now it has no taste at all like as if they freeze it. Very disappointing within 6 months...

Tonight, we had fish and chips

We ordered the pink salmon (1 of everything for 1 person), nemo, and 4 potato scallops.

There is plenty of parking in the little complex, run by family business. We drive past all the time to and from work.

Just OK, dinner tonight, kids love calamari but didn't finish the 10 rings with got with the nemo pack. Cod was good, potato scallops were average with a hint of custard powder.
