As a half Sri Lankan it’s disappointing to have to say that these Sri Lankan shops continue to practice selective service, terrible listening skills, apathetic disorganisation, and an all round memorable experience for all the wrong reasons. Walking off mid sentence, one word responses, only welcoming those they know and in Sinhala etc is not a good look and won’t help you build or retain customers as someone else has already noticed. We’re all paying the same price for goods- give us a consistent and professional experience or else maybe move your business online. This is not how we do things in Australia.
