Wicked Corner Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

If you want breakfast on a Sunday call them first to see if they are open. They aren’t always.

The service was amazing, served with a smile.

Very good coffee. I had a cappuccino and it definitely wasn’t milky.

Portions were very generous, we shared 2 big breakfasts between three of us and didn’t finish it all.

Food wasn’t greasy at all. The poached eggs were perfect (we asked for Runny), and the hash browns were crispy 🤌🏻

There is a carpark across the road but generous street parking around if you don’t mind going for a wander. We were staying at Amora so just walked up the road.

Would happily eat here again.

Some things to note: Not a huge entertaining space so would definitely book if you have more than 10 in a group. And there is no lock on the toilet door but it’s still quite private. I hope most people would assume if the door is closed...

Mona’s chai latte is a masterpiece. Silky smooth, perfectly spiced, and made with so much love you can taste it. It’s the kind of drink that makes you slow down and savor every sip.

Then there’s Wa’s avo toast — fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. The avocado is creamy and generously served on crisp, flavorful bread, topped with just the right touch of seasoning and garnish. It’s the kind of dish that makes you feel good and full.

Was staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to get breakfast outside as in-room dining options were limited. This cafe was close by so I went. When I arrived, was wondering why it got high reviews when the cafe actually looked simple and ordinary. As I went in, staffs were welcoming and accommodating. When I got my orders, I realised why this cafe has its high reviews. Coffee was great. Food was presented well and cooked well. I got exactly what I needed. Great breakfast with excellent service.
