Nestled on the ground floor of a busy office building, this open-concept café and restaurant is a convenient haven right in the heart of the hustle. Despite the steady buzz of the business district outside, the space offers a relaxed, well-organised setting where you can take a proper breather. I stopped in for a coffee and was pleasantly surprised – rich, smooth, and clearly crafted with care. The café side features a few high communal tables, perfect for a quick catch-up or solo stop, while the restaurant area offers more traditional seating for a longer, sit-down meal. It’s this flexibility that makes it so appealing, especially during the workweek. One of the best parts? They serve coffee well into the evening – a rare find in this kind of location, and an absolute win if you need a late-day pick-me-up. Given its prime position on a busy commercial street, it’s ideal for city workers or anyone passing through the area. Whether you’re after a solid coffee, a relaxed meal, or just a spot to regroup between meetings, this café-restaurant hybrid is a welcome addition to the city scene – practical, polished, and always welcoming.

Update 3/May/24 I couldn't forget the taste of the truffle-funghi pizza I had for the first time, so I ordered it through Uber Eats. However, the taste was absolutely dreadful, like chewing on tough paper. I was extremely disappointed and wouldn't recommend it anymore. So sorry!🙏🏻 ——————————————————— A Hidden Brisbane City Gem! I stumbled upon this delightful place while searching for a spot to enjoy a glass of wine and was pleasantly surprised. The bright and friendly atmosphere, along with the warm and welcoming staff, set the stage for a great experience 🩷💕 The interior seamlessly blends the urban environment with natural elements, creating a tranquil escape in the heart of the city. The decor is impressive.🌿🌼🌸🌺 I tried their truffle mushroom and potato pizza, which was a true delight. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and I highly recommend it! 🍕😍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The attentive staff made the experience even better. This place is not just for food; it's a memorable experience :)

Brought my elderly grandparents here for dinner while they were visiting. Our server was extremely accommodating, I explained my grandfather is mostly deaf so needed somewhere quiet to sit. She sat us inside away from other tables and also turned the music down for us. He was actually able to join in on the conversation which is extremely rare for him in public settings like restaurants. At this point I was already impressed, then the food came. Everything came quick and was absolutely delicious. I was very impressed with the steak which was huge and cooked to perfection, great sides with it too. We also tried the dessert platter which was 10/10 yum. The tentativeness of the staff and care taken into the food will definitely have me coming back.

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a team lunch at Santa Monica Restaurant in Brisbane City, and I cannot express enough how fantastic the experience was! We were a group of eight celebrating Christmas, and from the moment we arrived, the ambiance and service exceeded our expectations.

The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a festive gathering. The decor is stylish yet comfortable, creating a delightful backdrop for our celebration. The manager was incredibly accommodating, taking our request for a new seating arrangement into consideration, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for being so attentive to our needs!

The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The menu offered a wonderful selection of dishes, and everyone was thrilled with their choices. The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented, adding to the overall experience.

It was heartwarming to see how happy everyone was during our lunch, and I truly appreciate the effort the team at Santa Monica put into making our gathering special. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a great meal in a lovely setting.

Thank you, Santa Monica, for making our Christmas lunch memorable! We will definitely be back for more wonderful experiences in the future.

A Flawless EOFY Celebration at Santa Monica Brisbane We recently hosted our Brisbane Consulting EOFY function at Santa Monica, and it was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, Lucy and her incredible team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly elevated the entire experience. The venue itself was stunning—stylish, vibrant, and perfectly suited to our group. The ambiance struck the ideal balance between relaxed and sophisticated, making it a fantastic space for both celebration and connection. The food and drinks were exceptional, with a menu that catered beautifully to a variety of tastes and dietary needs. What really set the night apart, though, was the service. Lucy was an absolute star—proactive, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our event a success. Her team mirrored her energy and commitment, delivering seamless service with a smile throughout the evening. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated team. Thank you, Santa Monica, and a special shoutout to Lucy—you made our EOFY celebration unforgettable. Highly recommended for any corporate event or...
