Omg, I am so very grateful to Glenn for coming out to visit my 'proud of his castle' 88 yr old father. We have watched our widower dad deteriorate in stress and frustration due to 2 years+ of issues with his 80 yr old neighbour and her tree roots causing structural damage to his property. The failure of any acknowledgement or discussion of the situation with either her nor any of her extended, frequently visiting family, resulted in our inability to resolve the situation. We watched dad become alienated from and angry towards us in his late years. Until a kind young professional suggested an “arborist” perhaps could offer us guidance. An arborist! Yes of course! Not only did Glenn from Brisbane Tree Experts not ignore our contact email, as all the others did, he replied promptly and scheduled an on-site inspection at his earliest convenience and boy were we glad this amazing man was the one to reply. What we saw in Glenn was: punctuality, warmth and attention and adept understanding of plants and vegetation, respect and kindness with an elderly person, an ability to create a calmness to my dad’s stressed disposition, patience in his listening skills, the tender way he addressed dad in his communication, and the intuitive way that he could take command of the discussion when required, his respect to my husband and I in quickly understanding our inadequacy to make the situation right for dad without fully understanding our rights re root blocking and the different root system of various trees, A report was written up the very same evening. The gratitude we feel towards Glenn and Brisbane Tree Experts is immeasurable. Simply having had the pleasure to have come across such a kind and generous human being is gratifying in this...

Brisbane Tree Experts were prompt and efficient. They arrived on time, completed two tree removals and other trimming within an hour, and thoroughly cleaned up all debris. I greatly appreciated their professionalism, and how they took care not to damage the garden area surrounding the trees. My only criticism is that a wall light was damaged during the tree removal process, and although the supervisor filed an incident report, I have not heard anything since, nor received compensation for it.

Update: three months have passed, the wall light turned out to be permanently damaged, and I have heard nothing from this company, which charged me the full price for their services. Brisbane Tree Experts is excellent if you just care about getting rid of a tree, but if you care about your property, or about customer service after money has been exchanged, go elsewhere.

Update 2: a few months after my last update, I received a call from Brisbane Tree Experts. They had just noticed this review, and when I explained the situation, Glenn and Rick came out to have a look at the wall light. The light could not be replaced, but I appreciated their time and the compensation that they provided. I explained that my disappointment was due primarily to their lack of communication after the accident, and they apologised for the miscommunication and assured me that procedures had been altered so that such miscommunication would not occur in the future.

In short (for anyone who has read this far): I would recommend Brisbane Tree Experts, but I would also recommend being very explicit with the team that works with you, about how you want any issues or problems to...

Glenn came out to do a general check of the many trees on my property, and provide a quote to do some trimming.

I paid $160 cash for this service that would apparently be deducted from the final bill. That was 9 weeks ago, and I have emailed 5 times and called 4 times requesting the quote to get the works done. Each time Angela was very friendly and told me the message would be passed on.

Meanwhile, several of the large limbs that were identified as needing to be removed, have dropped and done damage to our property.

Although Glenn and his team can’t directly be blamed for that, if he had just told me upfront that he had no interest or intention on working with me, I could of contacted one of the many other arborists in Brisbane and had the preventive works done before it was too late.

Overall, Brisbane Tree Experts were extremely disappointing, and I feel like I paid $160 for someone to walk around my property for 20mins, and...
