Yavanna Plant-based Restaurant — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Food is really yummy! Service was lovely. The thickshakes are AMAZING! Tasted just like a dairy one, right down to the whipped cream on top! I just wish they were bigger because I drank it pretty quickly.

EDIT: I posted this review a long time ago when Yavanna was my favourite restaurant to go to. My partner and I recently went back after not going for a couple of years due to us moving interstate, and we were incredibly disappointed. What used to be a full restaurant with lots of staff, amazing service and incredible food was now a completely empty restaurant on a Friday night, one staff member, poor service and really poor quality food. We both got the steak, as we had done many times before, and what used to be incredible was completely different and bland. The mash used to creamy and delicious, and now tastes like something that had been made days earlier and reheated. The entrees were average, the meat balls were actually gross and cold. And our favourite chocolate shakes were no longer good. We drove out of way to go here while we were in Brisbane, and were left incredibly disappointed. I can only assume they are under new management, obviously not the same chef. We won't be returning, and I no longer recommend...

The best and most incredible dining experience I've ever had! Everything was spot on and very impressive. The food, atmosphere, music and service was 10/10. Staff were so approachable and friendly, there's lovely decor and plants, had a great mix of music playing. Prices don't blow budget and are worth every cent. This is a restaurant that I would come time and time again.

Food is incredible, high quality, fresh, well presented and mouth watering! I highly suggest booking a table and coming here with friends and ordering multiple dishes to share. I had a taste of the Pesto pasta, buffalo wings, calamari salad and chicken Parmesan. The pasta was very fresh and pesto was nice a creamy. Calamari was crunchy on the outside and really chewy on the inside, tasted even better with their sauce. Chicken Parmesan was of a large size but not dry at all, crispy on the side and soft and moist on the inside. The buffalo wings are a total hit, didn't even taste like cauliflower as the sauce was mind blowing. All the desserts looked very appealing, I decided to pick up a croissant for the next day. I recommend toasting it before eating, tastes really lovely, not too flaky or buttery.

Came here last night to celebrate the birthday of a friend and had reserved a table for 10 at 7pm. 8 people ordered mains and they took 2 hours to arrive. We had two of our friends arrive late (~8.30pm) and they received their food within 20 minutes while the rest of the table remained waiting. Two of our other friends had to cancel their order and leave because of the wait time. We watched other customers come in after us and leave before us. Staff said they had a "Crazy night", however we watched plenty of tables of 4-6 people get their food within 20 minutes of them arriving with no apparent troubles. Mistakes happen, so we checked on our food after an hour. We were told we weren't forgotten about, yet it took another complaint and another hour after that to start receiving our food. Clearly our orders were pushed back every time new customers ordered. We were told our food was coming "really soon' around 3 times. The food was nice enough, but disappointing after the ridiculous wait for essentially a burger and fries. We received free drinks and a 10% discount for the trouble, but it didn't make up for it at all. We will be redoing my friend's birthday evening at a...
