I’ve visited Hungry Birds around five times. Initially, I was impressed—the food was delicious, and the portion sizes were great for the price. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing.
I ordered the mixed platter for $32, but the amount of meat provided was shockingly small. A similar issue occurred when I ordered an HSP and even paid for extra meat—the portion still fell short of expectations.
As loyal customers, we don’t mind paying extra, but we expect value for money. Right now, it feels like the focus has shifted away from quality and customer satisfaction, which is disheartening.
Hungry Birds has the potential to be a fantastic go-to spot for food, but if this issue isn’t addressed, it will drive customers away. Please consider reviewing your portion sizes and ensuring they match your pricing. A little effort in this area can go a long way in winning back customer trust and loyalty.
I hope to see improvements, as I’d love to come back and enjoy the food like I did in...
Read moreAmateur hour in every aspect. Will fall very short of expectations if you've been to a kebab place in any major city. Since the owner asked for elaboration - the tabooli was old and wilted already, and they had used brown onion instead of red onion, and too much of it, so it was really sour. The falafel burger was bland, and had barely a shred of lettuce on it. 'Peri peri' sauce had no flavour. Chips were typical prebagged rubbish, cooked without attention to detail to the correct frying time, and a funny taste to the oil. And when you look at the meat on the rotisserie and how it is cooking, again it is clear that it is just amateur hour in every aspect of this restaurant. Sad to say as i would buy kebabs frequently in melbourne, but you guys simply do not operate with sufficient care and attention to make quality food. I have no intention of returning....
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting a charming little restaurant in Burnie, and it was an absolute gem! Despite being in a small city (as we came from Sydney), this place exceeded all expectations. The food was nothing short of amazing—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. The crepes and pancakes was a standout, offering a unique taste that I’ll remember for a long time. Also, their snackpack, wraps and burgers are worthy to try.
What made the experience even more special was the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, treating us like family and making sure we were comfortable throughout our meal.
It’s rare to find such a delightful combination of great food, lovely ambiance, and genuine hospitality in a city like Burnie. This spot is definitely 💯 worth the trip and a must-visit for anyone...
