Restaurant was nice, food was enjoyable, but the service was very poor.

Two of us ordered chicken with a side of vegetables, but instead we got a side of salad. So it took another 15 mins to get the vegetables brought out and by this time, if we hadn’t started eating our meal and almost finished it, it would have been cold. So, we had to eat our vegetables without the rest of our meal.

When ordering, the menu was misleading, so we asked the waitress if the vegetables and potatoes were separate sides or came together. She told us they came together, but when ordered, we all got vegetables with no potatoes. We then needed to ask for our potatoes which then came out 10 minutes later when those meals were virtually finished. Also, those who ordered chips received a very small amount of chips which was disappointing.

After paying the bill, we checked the receipt out of habit and discovered that we were overcharged by $29 on the alcohol we purchased (charged for more expensive beer and wine). Can't fault waiting staff as they are wonderful. Premises very clean 5/5 for them. The problem is the vegetarian menu. I'm at fault for not reading the small print but chicken stock in a vegetarian meal is like poison to me. I'm super sensitive and after a few mouthfuls which was very tasty I vomited all over the table and myself. Giving 0 stars for a number of reasons. Menu listed scallops on there own or in a number of dishes, also a Lamb shanks dish both unavailable. I get somethings being seasonal etc. but be flexible with your menu or print new ones. At approx 7pm. Left at 8 pm with no sign of food being ready. There were severl tables that arrived after we did, all who had neals before we did. There was another larger group on the tabke behind ours, that ordered approx 10 minutes before we did, they had all been served and finidhed before we left at 8.
