Yes it was the indian corner in burnie. I drove there, walked in, placed the order at the counter with an annoying woman who insisted on calling me "dear" I carried the bag out, drove 4 minutes home and started eating. So YES, it is you... don't even dare to imply I'm stupid and accept that on this occasion the food was disgusting and instead try to work out what went wrong and set about FIXING it.
Takeaway was disgusting, total waste of money. Starters were obviously precooked a long time in advance. Samosas dry and tasteless, chicken too dry to eat. Main courses were swimming in too much sauce, way too much salt with no great flavours I expect from good indian food. Naan bread I simply couldnt eat, thick and heavy and tough as old boot leather. Popadoms were ok, rice was as I expected, raiita dip was pretty good. Overall, I won't be going back. He actually told her she should've just said "no tea available and to goto some coffee shop instead"!
What kind of unprofessional, disrespectful behavior is that? And let’s not forget the ridiculous irony of them having a Ganesha photo on their menu while serving beef. This is beyond disrespectful!
We will NEVER recommend this place. This is not what Indian hospitality is about, and if there was a minimum amount to be ordered this should have been clearly communicated and we wouldn't have bothered...

I came here with the better half and our mouths were watering as soon as we took step inside, the aroma in the building was there and we looked at each other and just knew. We sat down, got served straight away and ordered the usual for me BUTTER CHICKEN and let me tell you, I was not disappointed! Felt like I was back in Indian posing by the Taj Mahal. The naan was perfect, can not fault this shop.
I will now be the most loyal customer! 5 out...
