Decided to try Uday Palace on a whim, tonight - And what a great experience it was! The staff were welcoming & friendly, the ambience was pleasant and the menu offered a vast range of choices, including a decent amount of budget-friendly options. I ordered both the Goat Curry ($29.90) and Vegetable Biryani ($15.00). The prices were more than fair for dine-in, considering the large serving sizes that I received. I asked for both dishes to be “true Indian spicy” and the chef absolutely came through on that. Every mouthful packed a punch of authentic flavour. Couldn’t fault a thing: Thanks for the great meal, I’ll definitely be back! 😊

I shared a beautiful meal with my daughter at Uday and what a great choice to come here. The lady who greeted us was very pleasant and assisted with the selections. Lovely lady. I had the Goat Curry, hot! But only Australian hot and not Indian hot! 😂 there is certainly a difference! The naan breads were freshly made and cooked. It was so nice, and the portion sizes were generous. The chef even came out to check that all was satisfactory, a nice touch! Parking was easy, food great and good service, thank you Uday

Easily one of the best restaurants in Burnie! My family and I have come here multiple times during our stays here and are always left feeling content and full. Service is exceptional, the waitress is extremely attentive and the chef even personally comes out to greet customers and ask for their preferred spice levels. Curries are divine and the garlic naan is a must get!

Takeaway- We opted for the $45 takeaway special Which is very good value for your money Our chosen curries were Mango Chicken Chicken Saag We also had Tandoori Chicken 1/2

The family agreed unanimously that the TANDOORI chicken is Amazing

The chicken curries were good - very saucy A little less sauce and would have been amazing The rice- cooked well and very enjoyable as the side to our meal Entrees. Samosa Chicken Tikka - didn’t disappoint Sauces and papadums were the finishing touches to a great family feed

Thank-you to staff and chefs for our...
