NeNe Chicken — Restaurant in Cannington

I came around 8 pm on Tuesday with my wife. I was waiting at the front to have my order taken. The young lady at the till was first dealing with the Uber deliveries.

After that, she basically looks dead in my eyes without saying a single word. No "hey", "hi"or anything, just an awkward stare.

Besides making me very uncomfortable, I wasn't sure if I was obstructing something, so I looked towards the Uber delivery person and came to the conclusion that it's my turn to give my food order.

After I gave my order, the time that she actually spoke was in such low volume, I actually had to say sorry and leaned a bit just to hear what she said.

Lastly, when the order was ready, the buzzer did not rang, she basically had her hand out to retrieve it. Again, not a single word said just had her hand out the entire time.

I gave it back, took the food, and said thank you. Guess what? No response, not a single word. Just giving awkward vibes all around.

The whole interaction felt like I was the one working their and she was the customer.

Just ordered food. Food is always okay. Cashier's face looks like she doesn't even wanna work there. She says something that only her can hear whatever she say, i haven't finish paying she walked away and start mopping the floor. I spoke to her because my order is cheaper than what i normally pay. I ordered a large combo but ended up having a small combo. Been told can only do chips, salad or coleslaw. When my food is ready, the cashier just handed the food to me. No thank you, no bye and same facial expression at all. Please give your staff proper training greeting customers and their facial expressions. Also they're wearing short- short and their top is even longer than their uniform they look naked...

I’m really disappointed with my experience at Nene chicken carousel today. When we placed our order, the cashier (a girl wearing full makeup) was noticeably unfriendly towards us, while treating other customers much better. We couldn’t help but feel that her behavior was racially biased, which was extremely upsetting.

To make things worse, the food quality was terrible. We ordered the chicken, which we’ve had from other locations before, but this time it was overly saucy and not prepared well. The packaging was also a disaster—some chicken pieces were in the bag because the box wasn’t closed properly, and when I took it out, some chicken pieces fell onto my lap.
