The Ave - Club Bay View — Restaurant in Claremont

After receiving shocking customer service and waiting in the line for 2 hours I posted a review on the avenues Facebook page. However, the comment has since been taken down with no response. Last night I saw staff and bouncers behave in a very unprofessional way, giving easy access to their friends over customers, increasing the wait time, taking shots in the bar infront of customers as well as being just plain rude and providing poor hospitality. After taking out a complaint with a staff member I was quickly kicked out with no reason given and told to leave. These people have very little regard for their customers and would rather make money by kicking people out senselessly and getting crowds through. This poor experience means I won’t be returning. If you are a punter walking into the club, and you are BARGED INTO by a worker when you first walk in. Don’t expect to get in if u defend urself. Paid entry fee to get in, and was literally man handled by a white entitled young girl on arrival. Based on her reaction, was kicked out. No ability to defend self. The Ave has always been a great spot to go throughout the years and continues to do great things. Being a local it’s great there‘s a place you can go to drink n dance that’s open late which is close to home where you will always see a known face! The staff are always super friendly and they do killer cocktails! Bring on next...
