Popped in here for a quick dinner after my sister did my hair as she works around the corner. Staff were absolutely amazing! So accommodating! Food portions were great very big! Food also came out so quick and super fresh and hot. All made in house from real fresh ingredients! Satay beef was delicious and served with broccoli! Ordered a S Fried rice, and wow huge plate! The chilli squid was so delicious! It had such amazing flavour and not chewy, melted in our mouths! Star of the show was the prawn toast! Which was clearly handmade huge pieces rather than the tiny pieces we'd usually expect, also so crispy and delicious! I could have had 10 more ! and the sweet and sour chicken! Wow this chicken was so moist and crispy and tasty! It was also huge! We took home 3 containers of left overs! Will definitely be back wanting to try more of their dishes! I was seriously disappointed when dining here considering the large no of positive reviews. Premium price at 20 + per dish but Sub par cooking standards compared to many other South of river chinese restaurants operating at far lower price points. All three dishes ordered were too salty and killed any flavor. Portions were small with no care for visual appeal and best described as edible. Customer service was ordinary. I had difficulty hailing the wait staff who were chatting as the restaurant wasnt that busy. I did not see a single other chinese customer which isn't generally a good sign. Will not be returning and rating as one to balance out the high no positive reviews. I would look elsewhere if you are after...

Don’t let the atmosphere fool you, even though it may not look 5 stars I recently visited Golden Mile Chinese Restaurant, and I have to say, it deserves a full 5 stars! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors and a variety of dishes that were cooked to perfection. But what really stood out was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. In particular, one of the staff members, a lovely girl, was incredibly attentive — she even started running to get what we needed as soon as we asked!
