Bento Box — Restaurant in Devonport

As I walked into the Japanese Bento restaurant, I couldn't help but feel a sense of neutrality. The modest decor and simple furnishings were nothing to write home about, but I was there for the food, not the ambiance.

I decided to order the classic bento box, hoping to get a taste of everything the restaurant had to offer. The rice was cooked to perfection, the teriyaki chicken was tender, and the vegetables were crisp. I must admit, I was impressed with the presentation of the box. It almost looked too good to eat. Almost.

As for the sushi rolls, they were decent enough. The California roll was a bit bland for my liking, but the spicy tuna roll had a nice kick to it. The selection was average, nothing too out of the ordinary.

One thing that did catch my attention was the low prices. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to break the bank to enjoy a decent meal.

But what really stood out was the fact that the restaurant gave me a free dish that was about to spoil. I mean, I appreciate the gesture, but it did make me wonder about the freshness of some of the other dishes.

All in all, the Japanese Bento restaurant is a decent option for a quick and cheap meal. If you're looking for a culinary adventure, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you just want a no-frills meal that won't break the bank, this might be the...

first time to visit this store. terrible customer service. server needs to be train again. We came at 3.40, we didn't know that they will close at 4pm. When we order, she also said nothing. But when the food came at 3.52, she said u only have 10 minutes to eat, no smile no sorry at all. She even rolled her eyes when we complaint that she must let us know before we order so we can cancel. Then she's litteraly coming every minutes to tell us to eat fast because they're gonna close.
