The inner child in me couldn't resist ordering the Toy Soldiers, a nostalgic classic that seems like a thing of the past – but not here. It did not disappoint, with perfectly gooey eggs and toasted soldiers that brought back all the right memories. My partner, always up for a big breakfast, went for the Taste of Tasmania, and according to him, it's one of the best he's ever had. The caramelized mushrooms and tangy relish were standout accompaniments, while the cheesy potato balls were a delightful addition. The portion sizes were spot on – just enough to leave you feeling satisfied without being overwhelmed.

The peaceful atmosphere, paired with classy music, made the dining experience even better. The café is housed in an old, quirky building full of history, which adds a unique charm to the whole visit. It's the kind of place that invites you to sit back and soak in the ambiance while enjoying great food. We'll definitely be...

None of the staff had a clue what they were doing. It took over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. There wasn’t enough cutlery our table and when the boy waitress came to give us more cutlery he was picking his nose whilst doing so. Disgusting and unprofessional. Everyone had their food but me. After 45 minutes of waiting for my food I finally got it, it was a crepe and it was also undercooked. To make everything worse it had a hair on it. When my fiancé paid only $4 was taken off our order. I found this entire experience unpleasant. Hire more staff if you’re constantly under the...

What a delightful place, steeped in history, a big 2 storey old home. East Devonport, 200m from Spirit of Tasmania terminal, even parking space for big RVs, caravans, trailers across the road Newly reopened and being progressively brought back to its former glory. Great friendly and attentive staff surrounded by beautiful gardens and a sandstone waterfall in centre of the paved courtyard. And inside is just as awe inspiring. The menu is extensive and flavoursome. Everyday, bigger and better things for this cafe / restaurant! Best of luck to the new owners (we are...

What a special place to celebrate any occasion. My husband took me here for mothers day recently, and I was so impressed. It was magical. The menu is very clever, contemporary, and almost Asian fusion in some respects. The chef is a cut above the rest for sure. My breakfast was cooked to perfection 🥰 💞. I am very fussy and like things done well. Couldn't fault anything, and for someone like me, who was raised as a foodie, that's saying something. My new favourite restaurant in Devonport. Can't wait to go back and try more of that menu, especially the Okonomiyaki.

The service was top-notch—the lady boss was warm, friendly, and easy to talk to. Now, onto the food—it was absolutely fantastic! Every dish made a great impression. Here’s what we had: - Fetta Avocado & Roasted Tomato with added scrambled eggs: Absolute perfection. Flawless from start to finish—an easy 10/10! - Huevos Rancheros: The eggs were fluffy and well-cooked. We just wished it had a bit more spice. Still, a solid 8/10. - Mocha: Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced—no complaints at all. A definite 10/10!
