My first visit to Devonport was supposed to be a pizza from The Hungary Delight, but it turned out to be the worst experience I’ve ever had. The person behind the call was incredibly rude. Instead of taking my order, they rudely asked why my call was displayed as “no caller ID” to them. They then went on about how many scams there were and how someone had called and cancelled the pizza, which seemed like they were taking my frustration on. It was just too much for the customer service.
I told them I would visit the restaurant and order it, but they were too busy to take more orders at 9:10 pm. Even though online, it was closing at 10:00 pm.

Read moreThe 1st time we ordered from here the pizza's were amazing, the staff were super lovely and allowed sauce change to aoli and would have rated 2nd only to Pizza Capers which we can't buy here. The 2nd time, the chicken pizza was 'strange' ( processed chicken maybe ??) and ended up in the bin. Sorry, I don't like to complain so didn't call them but something was very wrong. The other pizza was perfectly fine so will probably buy from again but not the chicken pizza sorry. Edited to add that the spelling of the restaurants' name is weird-it states BOTH Hungry Delight and Hungary Delight-owners should correct this glaringly...

You know Hungary is a country, you guys have no Hungarian meal on the menu at all. Such a horrible spelling mistake in your name... Change it to avoid disappointed customers in the future who would actually appreciate authentic Hungarian food who live far away...
