Noodle Box Devonport — Restaurant in Devonport

Yesterday, while working in Devonport and driving all the way from Hobart in the rain, my friend and I decided to stop at Noodle Box for some warm noodle soup. The gentleman working there was kind enough to explain the different options, and we ended up choosing a noodle soup, which was decent.

However, the customer service left much to be desired. The lady at the front desk, wearing a beanie and with orange hair, seemed upset the entire time. She didn't smile once, and her demeanor made us feel uncomfortable. It just didn't feel like she was the right fit for customer service. A smile can go a long way, and unfortunately, it was missing from our experience.

Hopefully, they improve the service aspect, as it really affects the overall...

Revolting. We ordered for 3 people and every dish was sickly sweet and bore no resemblance to what you'd expect at a normal noodle bar. The Nasi Goreng had hardly any bite and had tons of added sugar in sickly sauce. The Bbef with Black Bean had a horrible sugary flavour and little Black Bean flavour. We were very hungry but 3/4 ended up in the bin and we went elsewhere. It seems like someone has decided Asian food needs to be westernised by adding tons of sugar and in the process they have destroyed something that could have been quite good. The cashier lady is so rude. Cant smile at all. Many times Ive visited this place but always have an ending with frustration with the lady in the til. She dont have any knowledge about customer service but. all the men working there are very friendly. Only this cashier lady who doesnt know what CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. I felt that shes not happy serving us everytime i went there. I went there with friends one time and we had the same bad experience with her.
