This is one of my absolute favourite places for breakfast in Canberra. For some context: I left this place a 5 star review 3 years ago when I first came here. Now, having been here countless times since, I feel I need to write a better review. This place is the absolute best for a Sunday brunch or weekday takeaway.

Their coffee is great and always on point. My favourite food here is their Chicken Cheese Avo Sandwich. Absolute gem! The bread is toasted to perfection and the cheese mayo and chicken work great together! Also great are their pastas. My favourite is the chorizo pasta in Napolitano sauce. The place has a chill vibe, the staff is efficient and helpful. There's indoor and outdoor seating and loads of free street parking.

Its not the fanciest, its not the coolest. What it is, is reliable great, super comfy(food-wise) and a nice go-to, no brainier sorta cafe.

I recently moved to Adelaide and of the things I miss most about Canberra is Sunday brunch at...

I go here for breakfast semi- regular after night shift, always good food & service. Today though, my wife & I were getting tyres fitted around the corner at late notice, we had just picked up the kids from school so dropped in not realising they were just about to close but the service they offered was no trouble, doing take away coffees for us & milkshakes for our kids keeping them happy. We then sat out the front whilst the guy serving us literally, locked the door & left behind us, that's how close he was to finishing but still treated us with awesome service, can't ask more that - good ol'fashioned customer service, above & beyond ...and with a smile! Well done, thank you - that was first rate and you've won an already semi-loyal custmer...

On Thursday we took our car in early for a service and went to this Cafe as we hadn't been before. We were so pleasantly surprised by the fast service, reasonable prices, very generous servings and pleasant ambience...they were playing lovely music...even Frank Sinatra over a great sound system! My Eggs Benny was so generous ( and with runny yokes and I could cut the toast easily :) ) that I had to take a sizeable amount away:) First time ever...usually small serves and high price. Many Tradies were there which is a good sign. We will certainly return. My partner's burger was great too and he is very...

Lovely cafe will definitely return. We lazily ordered Uber eats from here one cold Canberra day and enjoyed it so much we recently went for brunch. The steak sandwiches are magnificent! Served on light sourdough with the perfect amount and combination of lettuce, cheese, and tomato with a thin steak and onion; which makes the sandwich easy to eat and doesn’t fall apart. The juices are fresh and a good size, venue is clean and welcoming with friendly smiling staff. Great experience and value for money !

Bean Origin is an unassuming little Cafe located at the back of Belconnen near the Ginninderra Medical Centre and Officeworks. We went for lunch during the week and it was quite busy, with a mix of office staff, tradies and retirees. We ordered a roast pork roll and chips and a burger. The roll, burger and chips were all good and pricing reasonable with a lunch of lunch specials for around $15. Even the burger was just $20 with chips, which is on the cheaper end nowadays!
